This week we have been working on lining this octagonal pond at Serendip Sanctuary in Lara. ACE Contractors Group has renovated the pond as part of upgrade works in the sanctuary. The pond is approximately 1/4 million litres in capacity. The EPDM Rubber liner for this job weighs around 1.2t! Thankfully we have machines to do (most of) the heavy lifting. Today we installed 1/2 of the liner and it was extremely heavy to manipulate into the correct position

Our most recent "tanks in schools" installation, this time at the Yalukit William Nature Association at Elsternwick Park, Melbourne. Supplied and installed for Native Fish Australia, this one funded by Melbourne Water. This aquarium displays Southern Pygmy Perch, a species that will, in time, be introduced onto some of the ponds being restored in the park - see second photo. Photos by Natalie Davey
