We have experienced a very high number of surrenders this week accompanied by a quiet week of adoptions which means we are at capacity for the number of cats we are currently caring for. Our adoption sheds are full and we have cats in other areas of the shelter waiting to be moved into them! As we are an open admission shelter - meaning we never turn away a cat in need, we need to find loving permanent homes or foster homes for as many cats as possible, to make room for the hundreds of cats arriving into our care weekly.
We are also urgently seeking foster carers and you can even foster a cat with a view to adopt to help us ease the number of cats we are currently caring for.
All cats come sterilised, microchipped ,vaccinated, flea and worm treated and make the purrfect companion to come home to in these trying times. Adoption hours are 11.30am - 6.30pm Monday-Friday and 11am-4pm on weekends.
Like many establishments our shelter is feeling the economic pressure and has experienced lowered foot traffic in the last few weeks, so if you can't adopt please make a tax deductible donation via our website.
