R.S.L. CHRISTMAS DINNER AND ENTERTAINMENT 2025
1430 for 1500 Arrival - Guests will be met by Chris, Valet Parking Manager Extraordinaire. He will give directions to seating/entertainment area.
The show will commence with a horse and flag riding display by Brittney and Georgia.
Australian pony “Becks” will start the afternoon by exciting our guests with his magnificent body.
Warm Blood “Leo” will join Becks with a magnificent display of Dressage. Leo will be proudly ridden by Gail.
Thoroughbred “Knight” will display the personality of his breed. Proudly by his owner and trainer Maka.
Paint horse “Jack” will join Knight in a display by a mother and daughter – Sammie and Maka .Sammie will also do a double act as Bar attendant.
Warm Blood “Pomm” will put on a magnificent display in the capable hands of Jill Dawson. For those wanting autographs from Jill, please wait until intermission.
Australian Stock Horse/Morgan “Jack” has been training for the past month to transport our veterans on a scenic of the property. In addition to this, should your vehicle break down or you become bogged Jack is capable of towing your vehicle to the nearest service station.
Intermission During Intermission several different kinds of saddles and bridles will be on display for all to observe.
The jumps and barrels will be set up for the remainder of the show during this time.
A whip cracking display by Pattie Wright will have you on the edge of your seats. This young man entertained the crowd at Winton where he won second place in the yearly Winton Festival. Hence the old saying, I couldn’t whip cracking competition.
Australian Stock Horse “Snickers” ridden by Ginny May will do a jump display.
Quarter Horse “Prada” will do a magnificent barrel riding demonstration. Also ridden by Ginny May.
On completion of this segment, cattle will be brought into the entertainment area, so could all guests remain behind the safety barrier.
Quarter horse “Jimmbo” will cut one of the cows away from the herd and intentionally lose it once or twice back into the herd. This exercise is carried out due to the animal’ welfare and not being kept away from his friends for too long.
Australian Stock horses “Boris” and Quarter horse “Outlaw” will then return the cattle to the grazing area, guided by Kelly and Roy.

Whilst the spectacular has been underway, Emily, Jenny and our volunteers will be preparing a delicious three course meal for our veterans and friends.
