🚨Does anyone have any orphaned puppies in the Tweed Shire Area?
That need a mother dog
We have been contacted by an owner of a female dog that has had a phantom pregnancy and is now lactating. The owner has contacted to see if we had any orphaned puppies so her dog could nurse them. We don't, so if could share to any other pages or know of anyone please let them know

CAT of the WEEK, shy girl MOWE is still searching for her furever home. We have featured Mowe a few times, but the right person hasn't come to meet her yet. Maybe you're the person Mowe's been hoping to meet?

Mowe was rescued by Friends of the Pound from a kill pound, and is just looking for a second chance in a loving home.

Mowe is a sweet girl who would make a gentle, loyal companion. Mowe would do best as the only pet in a calm home without young kids. With a bit of patience, Mowe will reward you with her quiet affection and a lifetime of companionship.

DOG of the WEEK is super smart PONTO!

Ponto is a handsome mix of Kelpie, Collie, and Cattle Dog—a trio of clever, hardworking breeds that make for one clever pup!

Ponto and his brother were heartbreakingly dumped on the M1 on Easter Sunday, but they’ve come a long way since then. They started off as frightened little souls, but have now grown into confident, energetic, and healthy young dogs with so much to give.

Ponto is an active boy who thrives when he has a purpose—whether that’s running alongside the kids, joining in on farm chores, or exploring the great outdoors. He’ll need a home where he can burn off energy, use his clever brain, and be part of the action.

He’d be best suited to an active family on acreage or a property, where there’s plenty of space to stretch his legs and plenty of stimulation to keep him busy and happy.

DOG of the WEEK is mellow pup MANNY

Manny is a dog who will make the perfect family member. He has a lovely nature, he loves a cuddle and enjoys games. Manny will effortlessly fit into most households with his gentle nature.

Manny has been thriving in our training program, showing his eagerness to learn. Our volunteer trainers have said Manny must be short for manners, as he has plenty!
