Today we said Goodbye to our longest resident at the paddocks … Diego and his owner Bec Waters.
They have been with us for 3 years.
Diego is moving down south to live out the rest of his days with his new owner.
We wish Diego and Bec the best of luck on their new adventures.

For our long time followers and past Agistees and current you may remember a Horse named Duke who was very close to death due to neglect by his owner 2 years ago. Our agistees Michelle and Stew so kindly took this sweet boy on and over the course of a few months fattened him up and gave him the attention he deserved. And found him what we all thought was a good caring home. Fast forward 2 years to now… Michelle gets a call asking if she will take Duke back as they no longer want him and this is the condition she finds him in today on pickup. Back to skin and bone, feet badly needing a trim and his skin in terrible condition especially in his ears.
So we are in for the long haul with Duke again. Now as kind as Michelle and Stew are to take on this task again without question they already have 2 of their own horses to feed, 3 kids and 2 cars with desperate mechanical needs. And as they would never ask for help I’m doing it for them.

If any of our wonderful followers and horse people on this page could so kindly donate either $$, or a bag of
Tru Gain/ Soybean meal for our Duke myself, Michelle and Stew would be very greatful. Feed and $$ donations can be made through MB Horse Supplies on 0429 016 061 or on messenger through their page. Or feed can be dropped off to our paddocks.
