Teddy came in for desexing today & presented with an abdominally retained testicle. If not removed the dog remains fertile and the retained testicle can cause issues like cancer or testicular torsion.
Remember to check that your puppy has two visible testicles, they should be fully descended by approximately 6 months.

Molly came for a consult recently to Edgewater Vet Hospital where she was suspected of ingesting a fish hook . Molly was admitted immediately for assessment & imaging to confirm the hook was ingested & the location of the hook in the abdomen. Within an hour an a half, our team prepared Molly for abdominal surgery to remove the hook successfully.
Molly has been in for her post op check & is recovering nicely.

Puppy age ranges between:-
Small puppies up to 6-15wks
Large puppies up to 6-12 weeks
Classes go for 4 weeks for 1 hour
$150 for the total program which covers general puppy needs, behavioural issues & basic training
