📢 CUSTOM ORDER PREPAYMENT POLICY

Over the past month we have been gradually introducing prepayment for custom orders. From now on, this policy will be strictly enforced.

All custom orders must be paid in full before production.

What is considered a custom order?

A custom order includes:

✔ Any customer requested mix that falls outside our standard product range

✔ Any item requiring custom packing or portioning, regardless of whether it is a standard house blend or a custom recipe

✔ Bulk orders of 10kg or more of a single blend or item

Why do we require prepayment?

Prepayment allows us to:

✔ Allocate stock specifically for your order

✔ Ensure recipes and packing instructions are accurate

✔ Avoid invoicing and pricing discrepancies

✔ Reduce waste and unused stock

✔ Provide a quicker and smoother collection experience

As custom orders are prepared specifically to your requirements, we are unable to guarantee stock allocation or production without payment being received.

Important

No prepayment = No production.

Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on your invoice. Orders that remain unpaid may be delayed, moved to the next production run/week or cancelled if stock cannot be allocated.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to improve our processes and ensure we can provide reliable service and quality products to all of our customers.

Due to a current supply shortage, we will be temporarily removing our lamb mince and lamb mixes from the menu until a consistent supply becomes available again.

For customers with regular orders that include lamb, we’ll be happy to help create an alternative mix to suit your pet’s needs.

Do you know what goes into the food your dog eats? 😳

𝗣𝗘𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙-𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬

4 years ago, I smelled BS, so I tested an Australian-made dry food that was meant to be a novel protein dry food, and the lab test came back to say my sniffer was correct; it was actually mostly cheap chicken.

It wasn't just that the consumer was being ripped off, it was that this dry food targeted allergic dogs with their novel protein, so the dogs allergic to chicken could be affected.

In Australia, the industry is largely unregulated other than some basic government standards. We don't even have recall laws here, so when this same kibble manufacturer had mould issues, they weren't forced into an immediate recall; they could dilly dally until it got so bad that they had to say something publicly.

Whilst this dry food isn't as popular as it once was, it's still around and I still have a total lack of trust and respect in them, especially after they sent their lawyers after me when I released results.

A heads‑up for dog owners - sea hares are back in town.

The City has received several reports of sea hares washing up on Bunbury’s beaches.

Rangers have installed warning signs at dog exercise areas along the beach, advising beach users to be aware of the sea hares as they are poisonous to dogs.

The sea hares may be hard to spot if they have become discoloured or tangled with seaweed, and it appears many are hidden among seaweed at the moment – so please be extra vigilant.

It is a seasonal occurrence for sea hares to wash up at this time of year.

Should pet owners be concerned about their pet following a visit to the beach, it is recommended they seek assistance from a vet.

City staff will continue to monitor the beaches and remove warning signage when the sea hares are no longer in the area.

Such a great reminder for anyone feeding raw 🐾

It’s easy to get caught up trying to make every meal “perfect" but that’s not how real food works. You won’t achieve complete balance in one serve — and you don’t need to.

Focus on variety, rotate proteins, and aim for balance over time.
That’s where the real benefits come from ❤️

A fresh batch of food for my dogs 👇

Kangaroo mince, lamb and goat chunks, beef and lamb liver and kidney from Pro Pet Food combined with a mix of whole veg, fruit and seeds.

Nothing fancy. Just real food.

Does it contain every single vitamin, mineral and nutrient in the perfect quantities my dogs require? Nope. That's not realistic, and it's not how real food works. That's why I include plenty of other wholefoods, variety in proteins, and I rotate products from other trusted suppliers.

Alongside batches like this, I also use foods from Organic Paws , SkinnyDog Pet Treats and 5 Hounds by Dr Will.

It all adds up.

But having access to good quality, fresh ingredients makes that process so much easier, and Pro Pet Food is a big part of that 🙌
