We have this lovely qh paint gelding, no rego, here in training for sale prep at present.
Approx 14.3hh, age in his early teens.

Harry is looking for his forever home. This boy is super quiet definitely more woo than go but developing a nice softness to his aids and posture. Proving very comfortable and safe to ride. We believe he could the the horse for all the family.

Easy to do everything with on the ground and no issues floating. Easy to trim and just had his teeth done by a vet

Keeping with the bridleless theme. Here is the daughter of Cortez, Boulevarde Gabrielle, and I doing fun freestyle to the same music as the previous one with Cortez.
You can tell I had a lot of fun with this one. I think I had only had about 3 training sessions with Gabby Bridleless before we performed at this event.

With all the great videos from the recent bridleless dressage and jumping competition recently held in England I thought I would post the video of the first dressage freestyle I ever did on the amazing Morgan stallion RanchBoss Cortez 15 years ago at the Australian National Morgan Show 2011 in Toowoomba.

Certainly not perfect but it was a lot of fun and I would like to think we got better in our performances over the years.

Going bridleless for me is a fun way of testing my partnership and communication with my horses. Some horses are certainly more easy to ride without a bridle than others.

The boys had their teeth done today. Lusitano stallion Pretzel and his buddy, who he hasn't seen for a while, Licorice, draft x gelding.
Decided they can have a sleep over in the stables to catch up and give Pretzel a chance to do some socialisation training
Both boys are now 4.5yo and ready to start a bit more light riding training over the next few months.

The lusitano gelding, Ollivander ToraV, who has been here in training for about 7 months now competed in his second official working equitation competition on Saturday at Waterford HOTY.

So much improvement in his self carriage in the last month. He is proving to be a delight to take out, travelling well and super chilled in the atmosphere.

His canter quality was the highlight on Saturday. With Linda taking the long tracks between obstacles in the EOH phase to have time to enjoy the canter quality.

Additional highlight for Saturday was having Ollie's wonderful owners able to come to the event to watch him perform.

Linda and Ollie had to Inverell HOTY this weekend for another competition.

Linda just finished a fabulous 3 day clinic Roylance Acres, Elimbah
Thank you to the wonderful riders who once again trusted us with helping them with their training. Some really fantastic results and light bulb moments.

Next one will be 19 to 21 June. Entries will be open soon thru nominate.

UPDATE. For this clinic Linda will now be doing a ridden demonstration on her current competition horse at 1pm on Saturday and sunday. Explaining as she riding, her training techniques and how she helps the horse with his current weaknesses and issues and ensure he develops a correct posture and self carriage to confidently take him further up the levels in his training. $30/day spectators fee for anyone not riding in the clinic. Due to last minute rider cancellation we have room for anyone wanting to book in at the last minute.

Can't make the 2 days? We can fit in riders for single private lesson on any of the days or book a spot for just Saturday or Sunday and receive 2 lessons.
