Our custom designed Mobile Veterinary Van acts as our consult room, fanning out from our clinic base each morning to see pets across Bendigo. The van is equipped with a microscope, s

cales, diagnostic equipment, and a fully stocked pharmacy so that most pets can be treated at home. If in-clinic care is needed, we have a great relationship with a local vet clinic and can provide necessary procedures and diagnostics in collaboration with them. We are mobile consulting from 9am to 5pm every Monday and Wednesdays. Our standard consultations are up to 30 minutes. This allows plenty of time for our vets to get to know your pet and provide the care they need. We offer comprehensive physical exams, dermatological consultations, on-site and send-out laboratory analysis, vaccinations, chronic disease management, nutritional consultations and much more - all with a fear-free and kind approach. We believe passionately in providing exceptional veterinary care and building lasting relationships with our patients and their owners. We look at your whole Pet and help general health by using nutrition, behaviour or environmental changes, medications and surgery and most importantly a follow-up service. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we perform high level dentistry, soft tissue surgery (no orthopaedics), imaging and medical investigations from our base clinic at 66 Powells Avenue in EAST BENDIGO. We have the ability to hospitalise and provide advanced treatment for sick cats and dogs in our hospital. We can be contacted by phone, email or through our website from Monday to Thursday. We also offer telemedicine! We take a break on Fridays to extend our knowledge and learning in our special areas of interest - Dentistry, Dermatology (Skin Disease) & Medicine (Sick Pets/Pets with chronic disease).

**Important Announcement: Closure of Bendigo Pet Vets**

Dear valued clients and friends,

It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the closure of Bendigo Pet Vets - effective immediately.

Over the past three and a half months, I have been treated and am now recovering from a severe gut parasite infection, which has led to significant health challenges.

Despite my best efforts, I am still experiencing fluctuating health with both good and bad days. I now have firm dietary restrictions as advised by specialists - venturing from this list leads to illness.

My recovery period is projected to be between 6 to 12 months due to the extensive internal damage caused.

Given these circumstances, I have made the difficult decision to close Bendigo Pet Vets. This decision was incredibly difficult, as I have poured my heart and soul into this little business and into the care of your beloved pets and your families.

It has been a privilege to serve you and your furry family members over the years. I am truly heartbroken to say goodbye, but I hope you understand that my health must come first at this time.

Please know that I wish you and your pets nothing but the best. Bendigo is home to many excellent veterinary practices, and I am confident that you will find outstanding care for your pets elsewhere in the community.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and the trust you've placed in me. Your kindness during this challenging time means the world to me.

Dr. Mandy is continuing her recovery from a very nasty intestinal parasite. She won't be returning to work for a few more weeks as she focuses on learning to eat properly again and regaining her energy. We all wish her a speedy recovery and look forward to her return when she's fully ready. Sending lots of love and positive vibes her way! 💖
