Hi all,

I wanted to let you all know of the passing of one of our first rescues, Romeo.

He was surrendered to me in 2011 at the age of 20 years, in 2012 he was adopted to Kim Graham, where he lived until he passed on January 1st.

I saw Romeo about 2 years ago when I delivered a couple of horses to Kim, and he was living the high life.

Thanks for looking after him Kim, you gave him more than he had had in a long time ###

Romeo - rescued in 2011, rehomed in 2012 to Kim Graham. He is now retired from riding and enjoying being a paddock bum at the age of 24. Wait, maybe he's 25 now!!!

I am really saddened at the plight of this Brumby Stallion he needs help he now has seven days or will be sent to slaughter, He was one of many rescued by someone when they couldn't rehome them they shot most this one escaped he has been hanging around for 12 months fending for himself and has now been yarded the people who have him safe at the moment cannot keep him nor have the experience to, Sometimes i wonder why we save them when the future isnt better than the option of a quick death breaks my heart So if your near Penrith Area NSW and have the experience this Brumby could certainly do with your help the countdown is on Lets get this boy safe we owe him that much Thankyou Lynne Please share this post time is crucial.
EDIT Please Note to assist this brumby you will need a portable holding yard and be able to load in a suitable trailer He is NOT HANDLED
