What an incredible weekend stepping into a whole new experience—my first-ever grooming competition! 🐶✂️
I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I took home:
🏆 1st Place – Salon Freestyle
🏆 1st Place – Purebred Scissor
Saturday: Zaba and I competed in the Salon Freestyle category, which we secured 1st place! This was Zaba’s first time participating in anything like this, and she was an absolute star—making new furry friends and handling the whole experience like a pro. A huge thank you to her amazing owners for trusting me, allowing me to collect her Friday evening for an early start on Saturday, for a big day of travel, prep and grooming 😍
Sunday: We entered Purebred Scissor with Bowie, who also brought home 1st place! It was his very first time in a competition setting, and despite some initial nerves, he stood perfectly still and handled it all like a champ. Thank you so much to Rachel for helping maintain his coat and to his lovely owners for not only trusting me but also the thoughtful bottle of wine they gifted—so appreciated! 🍷
