🚧B-DOUBLE BLOCKS PORT STEPHENS CUTTING 🚧

✳UPDATE - 11.15pm✳
The roadway has been reopened to traffic at about 11pm when the B-Double was finally cleared. The operation was completed with care being taken with the cattle which remained aboard the vehicle.

About 45 minutes ago a B-double (prime mover towing two semi-trailers) jackknifed on the Port Stephens Cutting - blocking the narrow road to all traffic.

The heavy vehicle is unfortunately carrying cattle and a multi-agency operation is now underway to ensure the wellbeing of the animals and remove the B-double.

It is expected to take many hours before the road is open to traffic.

We will provide an update when information is available.

You choose from our range of hay from $13 first grade soft leafy lucerne, $11 second grade lucerne/grassy Lucerne to $8.80 down graded Cattle hay. All prices incl GST
You don't even need to be home, just pay via direct deposit and give us clear instructions where you want it stacked. We will email you your invoice.

We are very happy to tell that we have managed to donate 10 tonne of hay to the farmers affected by the Cassilis fires. Transport was provided with the support of Hazells Farm and Fertiliser.

There's plenty of hay in the shed to get you through this hot dry weather we are having. We have top quality Lucerne for $10, Lucerne with rye/liverseed grasses for $8, large four string Lucerne for $120 (equivalent to 17 large bales) and larger four string oaten hay $100.
