We are excited about the upcoming clinic 26-28th May bringing in the 4-5yr olds. Some wildies, home bred and purchased, into the mix.
I find working with the wildies are that much harder, but then that much easier and clearer.
But then how do we take that home and work with our own horses that already are carrying a lot of our “baggage”.
Well we will find out!! DP Jaspa and Rango, 2 amazing wildie geldings; WW Paringa aka Paris, our first bred; Grassbrook Totti which we have saddled, ponyed out and the let her have her first foal; hopefully the beautiful DP mare, Matilda; and DP Toffee and Shanahan 🤎🤎🤎🤎

There is nothing cooler than haltering a Waler, creating a connection and the taking it out and about, climbing over tyres, around and over logs, up over piles of dirt, through water and why not stand in a float, just because you can. All without the thought of “I’ll make you do this and then it will be ok” or “come on it is not scary, I will show you 🙄”

We had an awesome day, so proud of the young Walers🤎Taking in new grounds, green grass!! and new people, with a whole lot of good moovement 😊 Excited for tomorrow.

Great turnout for day 1. Thanks to all the fence sitters for braving the rain this morning. Looking forward to the next level tomorrow
