Hi, latest R&D project. Tubs are popular but you can’t see the animals properly. So here is a 80Ltr bells rack with a slimline enclosure stack designed to still fit through a doorway but allow you to easily see the top animals. This is for myself to house the new Blueies that I recently purchased. Will need a cage on the globe to stop them burning their nose. It would also work for snakes with a router heat cord. I left the tape off the top cord in the tub rack so you can see it. I would put a ceramic tile over it to spread the heat and have no tape to stick to the animal. I will post a video in the comments for those wanting more details

So been meaning to post this for a while but finally have a early day to do a write up.
People ask me can and do you build PVC enclosures. Short answer yes. These black ones went out last week.

Do I like PVC enclosures?

Simple answer NO!

They are easier to build but the finish is substandard.

I will turn comments off on this because this is my personal opinion on them and not going to get into a crap fight over it. I don’t comment about PVC builders on their post so don’t comment on my page.

But PVC is soft, dents easily, scratches with your fingernail and the biggest issue is it bows and sags under its own weight.

Personally I would only use it for high humidity animals that don’t have claws. So Green Tree pythons.

It’s basically a large Tupperware tub so would hate to put desert animals in there.

The second picture shows marks made by my fingernail.

Properly built HMR melamine enclosures have stood the test of time. It would be easier for me to push the PVC enclosure path but honestly as someone that has built both I will stand my ground and offer HMR melamine as my first choice.

Today way suppose to be a rest day, but no I decided I need a new TV so needed something to sit it on. Need some push to open drawer runners so fronts are only sitting there for the picture. Now I just need to try and clean the dust off it lol
