We are pleased to announce that our relocation is now official. As of tomorrow, July 30th, our new clinic at 201 Scarborough Beach Road will be operational. Parking facilities can be accessed via Flamborough Street.

🌾Grass seed season is here🌾

Grass seeds may look harmless, but they can cause serious problems for our pets, especially during this season! Thanks to the rocket shaped seeds and ‘sticky’ tails they can:
⚠️Embed in paws - causing painful abscesses and infections
⚠️Get stuck in ears - leading to irritation, head shaking,secondary infections and/or perforation of eardrums
⚠️Enter noses or eyes - resulting in discomfort or serious injury
⚠️Travel under the skin - causing swelling, infection, and sometimes requiring surgical removal

Signs to watch out for:
📣Excessive licking or limping
📣Persistent sneezing or pawing at the face
📣Red, swollen areas on the skin or around the paws
📣Sudden onset head shaking

🚨If you notice any of these symptoms, please contact us – grass seeds can move quickly and cause serious complications.

Keep your pets safe by regularly checking their paws and coat after being outside🐶🐾☺️

Little Corella bought in by member of the public after being located in Bennet Park in Scarborough. Believed to be someone’s pet as has clipped wings.
