AND

Cleaning your horse before clipping is essential.

A deep and thorough wash, with shampoo, using curry combs to
Remove all the deep dander and dirt from the top of the horse, saddle patch, loins & rump

A clean coat is essential for effective and efficient horse clipping.

Dirty or greasy coats can blunt clipper blades much quicker, and you will not get a great finish to the clip.

Horses are typically washed the day before clipping to ensure they are dry and clean.

They must be completely dry to clip
