Going to miss some of these girls when they head off to market soon, but we need rain! Driest April on record for Tas, and thanks to our cell grazing system they’re still looking okay. And I often get questioned if they’re really purebreds - or I MUST have hand raised. As they’re generally quiet enough to push around😁 literally. And if they’re not they get names like Nutsy and CC (crazy cow) and end up in the freezer😍

Warm autumn afternoon sun shining through all those blonde manes! With young horses/ ponies just spending time with them is all part of getting them ready to be a part of another families life. And don’t we love it when our horses just want to BE with us. No job, task or demands. Just be present.

I was busy on the fairy floss machine, so asked someone else to take a photo of the ponies at Deloraine Easter Festival today. 🤦🏼‍♀️. Not the most flattering 🤦🏼‍♀️. And there’s a foal in there as well! Brighthope 2yos Pepsi, Stormfly and 4 month old Comet charmed the crowds, and were coming to the fence for pats after 4 hrs (they had room to hide in the centre if they wanted to).

Press 2 if you were scammed by a feedlot "rescue" and your kid broke gelding is in fact an untouched crypt stud.

Press 4 if you have a horse you've owned for 20 years but it's no longer sound so you can't afford to board it anymore.

Running the mob through the race and crush for worming - and it’s getting congested. No one wants to leave! I have to shuffle through each time for the next pony 😁
