I've had a.month of getting ready fir the gothic festival ... and as exciting as it has been part of this year's display is going to hit close to home .... over the last few months I've been accumulating antique photos demonstrating the mouring practices for the Victorian era ...

While hunting down example of Victorian spirit photography with can be a little amusing I decided to buy two Victorian mourning photo photo taken for individual after death as it was part of the death and mourning practices of the Victorian period ..

I had to be a little selective witch of these photos i was to buy as there are many available on online auction and antique sites ... the two photos I have are of two little infant less than a year old ...

As I say looking at the images of these two sweet little souls with the inscription on the photo giveing there names there ages the date they were born and the date the grow there wings and because angels my mind wondered to my own sweet little angel baby Rhiannon would be seven this year .... and unlike the parent of the sweet soul in.the photo I have no photo of my sweet girl and although spiritual I feel the connection with her a photo I feel would have been a nice loving gesture give closure ...

My dolls I've always said are my threapy the material resentation of the child I didn't get to hold but also the children never be ... I've done alot of reserch for this years festival display ..abd yes there are those who still take photo of the children we give birth to sleeping and who we carry but never get to hold ... bereavement photography is the modern equivalent...

I resently had a uneducated little up start choose to have a go at my dolls and my spiritual practice of giving the living and the dead a place of sanctuary a safe place without judgement .... if she only new that my dolls are so very special and there beautiful energy is something they will never experince with such a closed judgemental mind..... but i also hope they will never know the pain for loosing a child or that person that is so very special ...

One reason we work on our own in the paranormal field is because we got fed up with idiot tour operators and teams who constantly "slag" many of the other local teams around, including us.. But we really don't give a s**t! To all the teams being slagged just realize it is only happening to you for a couple of reasons. 1. They are not intelligent enough to understand how you work. 2. They think they have a monopoly on certain venues... (so what! There are plenty of venues out there!) 3. Their tours are getting smaller and don't like the idea of yours getting bigger.. (people are slowly seeing the fake and negative ways being used by some operators). 4. I just want to mention we all work in our own ways, if those ways are not the same as "the slaggers" guess what!?.. your gonna get a slagging! .. The thing is we all do things different ways, some know things more than others, and some will never understand the way you work or the things you do... Who cares! .. Just be you and do what you do.. As for the dip s**ts out there who think their s**t don't stink.. If they took their fingers out of their asses and smell them, they might find it does.. and people are certainly smelling their vibe! .. Stay true to you! And don't give a s**t!
