We look forward to seeing our Manners Training participants tonight for our final intake of the year.

A few things to remember before you arrive:

🐾 The first night is NO DOGS so that we can talk to you about the class and answer your questions without you being distracted by your canine pal

🐾 FPPDTC is accessible from the south entrance of Freds Pass Reserve on Bees Creek Road

🐾 All roads inside the Reserve are gazetted which means you must obey the Reserve speed limit of 10 and wear your seatbelt

🐾 Bring proof of your dog's vaccination status – dogs must be vaccinated to attend our classes

🐾 We only accept cash or direct debit payments – if you have paid online please bring your proof of payment

Our trialling season has now ended for 2025. This year we hosted six trial weekends in Jumping, Agility and Games.

Our heartfelt thanks to our judges for this year, Michael Vigor, Brian Fielder, Nic Ford, Annette Gniel, Jenny Taylor and Heather Northover.

Special thanks to our club secretary Sarah Lockhart, without whom our trials would not be possible.

Congratulations to all handlers, qualifiers or not. Your hard work and perseverance is recognised, and all your achievements are worth celebrating, not just the ones that come with ribbons. You *all* have the best dog.

Our Triallers Presentation for Top Trialling Dog will take place at our Christmas Party on Tuesday 18 November at 7pm.

We look forward to seeing returning and new triallers for our 2026 season.

FPPDTC is hosting a Bone Drive for fundraising for our club. If you would like to order some raw bones for your dogs, please complete this order form.

Minimum order 5kg. The bag will be rounded as close as possible to the amount ordered (so may be under or over a few grams). Price is $6/kg, direct debit only. You can pick up from the FPPDTC shed on Tuesday 23 September or Thursday 25 September after 6:30pm.

Please note that tonight’s Agility Foundations and Agility Level 1 classes have both been cancelled tonight. These classes will be made up in future, back next week. Manners Training will take place as normal.

FPPDTC would like to thank Niki Drage of OneMind Dogs for coming to Darwin over the weekend and running a number of workshops for us across multiple levels. All the handlers got tons out of their experience and hopefully are inspired and invigorated to continue their training.

Thanks to our local agility community for being keen and coming along and to thanks to Darwin Obedience Dog Club for letting us use some equipment. Thanks to our committee for their hard work bringing this together and making it run smoothly.
