I have started the dog biscuit business with the help and support of my parents and carers. I am on a disability pension and currently work at HPA four days a week. Having my own small business has enabled me to develop new personal life skills which will assist my future transition from home to assisted living. This money will give me my independence and allow me to make choices on attending fun
things with my peers on the weekends. I wanted to do something that would enable me to be financially independent as I transition in assisted living. My treats are organic, healthy, and high in fibre, enhance their skin and coats, are anti-inflammatory, contain antioxidants and boost eye health! I am very proud to have received a certificate for being a Semi- Finalist in the 2022 Young Achievers Awards. This award has made me feel like I am doing something really productive and on the right path to independence. My family, friends and carers are so proud of me and my achievements and hope that ‘’Gabby’s Pooch Treats”, continue to grow. I have always loved animals and have a very active pup named Billy, who loves to go for walks and eat, almost anything.
