Hi Everyone, to those following my journey on the Mongol Derby

I regret to inform you that I have had to withdraw from the Mongol Derby due to a severe skin injury that would only worsen if I continued riding. The medical team has been incredibly supportive, and I am grateful for their assistance. If it weren’t for this injury, I would have continued the race. Making this decision was both difficult and emotional.

I sincerely appreciate all the messages of support I have received from those who reached out. Although I am no longer competing, I am wholeheartedly cheering on my fellow riders as they strive to reach the finish line.

The challenges faced by the riders are immense and often go unnoticed until one experiences them firsthand. I commend all the riders here; each of us has our own unique challenges and stories. Every derby experience is different, and we all encounter various obstacles along the way. I also take my hat 🎩 of to the crew, and vet team they work very hard to make this Derby happen.

I remain hopeful that I will have the chance to participate in the derby again in the future.

Hello, Derby fans. We meet again. At long last, the wait is over. It’s been an agonisingly slow, dreary year...

The race is quickly approaching! I'm currently in the process of packing, carefully weighing all the essentials I will need to navigate the challenges of the Mongol Derby. The maximum rider weight is set at 85 kg, which includes our riding gear (such as helmet and shoes) and a 400 g empty backpack. Additionally, we are permitted 5 kg of personal essentials.

I am confident that I have managed to gather everything I require while staying within the 5 kg limit. 🤞 Below is Details of race weights

Mystery Metal 🎸 the little rockstar girl! Absolutely love this mare! Her ability and athleticism is unreal. Just a little beauty this weekend, her ability to quickly get a cow back for me when it decided to duck the peg in the ladies finals, mystery to the fix it! We were just 1️⃣ point off making the finals in the maiden. What a lovely draft, thanks to the committee and everyone that made it a nice, enjoyable environment.
