PLEASE READ😊
Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to all of my wonderful clients — both new and long-time — for your continued support of my pet sitting business. Your trust in me to care for your beloved animals truly means the world, and I’m so grateful for each and every booking, message, and recommendation.
I also want to apologise for being a little quiet on here over the busy Christmas and New Year period. It was an incredibly full-on time! Alongside managing two jobs, I was also caring for 60+ animals in my own home, so social media updates had to take a back seat while I focused on giving not just your pets but also my pets the best care possible.
For those of you who don’t know this is my boy Banjo, my 2-year-old Border Collie. Many of you have met him already, but he’s such a big part of my world and the business.
Last March, Banjo underwent surgery in Sydney with a specialist after tearing the cruciate ligament in his right leg. At the time, the specialist did advise me that once one leg is injured, it’s very common for the other to tear within a year. Unfortunately, that time has now come.
Banjo is booked in this Thursday (12th February) for X-rays and scans, with surgery scheduled for Friday (13th February).
His recovery and rehabilitation time is estimated to be around 8 weeks. During this period, unfortunately I won’t be able to offer dog boarding in my home, as it poses a risk and may slow Banjo’s recovery (unless discussed otherwise). He will need to be on complete bed rest for the first 4 weeks and is only allowed up to go to the toilet — no exercise at all.
I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. This surgery booking has come through quite last minute as his leg has been getting progressively worse, but I will do my best to help in any other way possible where I can. I will still be doing pop in visits, in home stays, dog walking etc.
On another note, I will also be heading to Bali in 3 weeks’ time. I’ll be away from 2nd March until 15th March, so please bear with me if I’m slow to reply to messages during that period.
Thank you all again for your understanding, kindness, and ongoing support — it truly means so much to me and Banjo 🤍
I’m looking forward to another great year caring for your beautiful pets.
