To the DDASHS Members and Community

This is an open invite to the Darling Downs Branch of the Australian Stock Horse Society (DDASHS) Annual General Meeting on Monday 30/09/24, Russell Hotel, Dalby at 7pm. Pre-drinks will start at 6pm. This year is the 50th anniversary of the Dalby Sale and it is very exciting to see the level of support. Our intentions as a branch are to offer everyone the opportunity to come along, bring your family, be involved, have your say, meet new people, sponsor and support the community, and most of all have some fun.

Our direction as a branch is to promote the Australian Stock Horse, encourage good horsemanship, respect our heritage, and do what we have always done. It doesn’t matter if you wear a terry towelling, an Akubra or a Stetson, let’s just do what we do, and be who we are. It doesn’t matter if you own a Warwick Gold Cup winner or horse for polo, mustering, polocrosse, eventing, dressage, rodeo, or trail riding. In fact, it doesn’t matter if you don’t own a horse at all.

Our branch offers ASHS shows, club days, social events, horsemanship clinics, family functions and of course we run the largest ASHS sale in Australia.

It is exciting times, so come along, get on board, bring some friends and be part of this great committee.

Mac Young had his formal on Friday. Grown up into a good young man. Proud of you mate. Congrats on getting through grade 12. Glad you hung in there. Was great to be able to get some photos with Marnie and Glamour. Thanks for the photos Claudia Fox.

Docs Fuchsia's (Granddam) direct lines have won or placed at some of the biggest events in Australia including: Warwick Campdraft, Tamworth Cutting Futurity, Tamworth Cutting Derby and many other major Campdraft, Reining, Cutting and Led events. Full sister to Docs Amigo, Docs Chevelle (winner Warwick Gold Cup), Docs Fancy Melody, Docs Enterprise (placed 2000 NCHA Futurity), Spins Fashion.
Not broken in yet but has been handled.
