Hello everyone 👋. I am currently still residing in Dakabin. There has been a delay with my relocation plans. I am still moving, albeit not as soon as initially anticipated. It has been frustrating, but it is beyond my control. I am still available to take appointments & continue working. I will be sure to post any moving updates as soon as I know more.

Hello Everyone 👋 I hope everyone has had a transformative Easter long weekend. I've received some truly uplifting photos of all the furbies that have been in for their grooms. Some of these photos are effortless because they're all so heartwarming and adorable 😍

I would like to take this opportunity to break some news to you all. I am moving in early May & I'm leaving the area. I'm relocating to Woodridge/Logan.
I don't have a definite moving date at the moment. I'm waiting for a bit of construction at the property to be finished before moving.
This has been a heartbreaking decision for me to make but with my on going health issues my daughter's want me to be closer to them & a welcome reduction on living space for myself.
Once I have a definite moving date I'll let you know & be in touch with those who have appointments booked.
There are so many groomers available in the area & I'm happy to recommend to you.

Hello Everyone, I am astonished that April has arrived already. March presented several unconventional events. Notably, my Freddie underwent reparative surgery on his ACL & is recovering well, having resumed hydrotherapy this morning. Furthermore, we had to contend with ex-tropical cyclone Alfred, which caused uncertainty & stress for the community as we prepared for its impact, resulting in a tree falling in front of my residence, power outages, flooding, and property damage for others. It was a relief to have the companionship of your furbabies in the salon, & I am pleased to bid March farewell.

It's good to be back at work & my little boy Freddie is going very well. He gets his stitches out on Wednesday ☺️

Hi Everyone 👋
I'm not going to open tomorrow. It's to wet & there's still a lot of debris on the road. I've had a tree fall over in the centre garden out the front.
A potted tree has tipped into the salon entrance gate as well which I'll need to upright & manoeuvre back into place.
Hopefully tomorrow there'll be a break in the rain & I'll be able to put things back into place ready for Wednesday. Anyone who has had or has an appointment I'll be in touch with rescheduled appointments.
In the meantime Freddie is recovering well. Bandage is off his leg.
Yesterday he literally "fell" asleep next to me on the lounge ❤️❤️

Obviously I'm not working while we wait for Alfred to make his way to Moreton Bay. I'll send out texts to reschedule appointments.
Freddie had his operation on Wednesday so I'm looking after him postop. He's recovering well & being such a good boy 💙💙

Furbuary flew by, and I loved every second with my furry pals! So many cuddles and playtime shenanigans. 😍

Thank you everyone for your patience & support again in February for when I wasn't able to work due to my Atrial Flutter issue. My medication change is certainly helping me to get on with it. ❤️💊

This week, 3rd March, I'll be closing on Wednesday & weather permitting I'll be back in the salon on Saturday.

I had already planned this time off as Freddie is going back in for Surgery on Wednesday to have his ACL re-repaired. 🏥🩺🩹 With the pending arrival of Cyclone Albert, I'll remain closed, starting back on Saturday. 🌀💨⛈️

It's a little nerve racking with this cyclone & not knowing how we'll be till afterwards. So until it's passed, stay safe & secure 🙏 ❤️☺️

Hi Everyone 👋
Not my normal post but I do need to let you all know that I'm not feeling well as of late.
There has been some of you already affected by appointments being rescheduled & I appreciate your understanding.
Unfortunately my heartbeat has gone back into atrial flutter, which means I have a high heart rate of around 113bpm.
Some of you may remember me having this issue before & resulted in me having 2 cardioversions & then a cardiac ablation done. The Cardiac ablation was meant to stop the flutters from returning.
This time I'm suffering with fatigue/tiredness & is why I need to reschedule your appointments.
Please bare with me at this time. I'm doing my best to get your doggies done & rescheduling of appointments to be made as soon as possible.
If you want to seek another groomer out I do recommend Keisal from Short Paws Dog Grooming.
I'm hoping to see my cardiologist on Monday & hopefully will have an idea of what comes next thereafter.
