Hades out here performing advanced jungle python acrobatics again 🐍 (all that free range exercise after his reptile room adventures worked up an appetite)

Sir chowed down a young rooster while casually hanging on by the TIP of his tail 💪

Then, after demolishing that feed, he parked himself under the basking light and entered food coma mode for the next week straight ☀️

Alternative food options like this are fantastic for captive animals — not just for balanced nutrition, but for enrichment and encouraging natural feeding behaviours. Safe to say this one definitely enjoyed the challenge 😆

Well… plot twist — I won’t be making it to the Illawarra Reptile Expo today 😅

After a big week on the road (inc Cooma & Batemans Bay), I made the excellent decision to do a Melbourne round trip in one hit yesterday… and my body has officially filed a complaint 🫠

Also turns out this is my third weekend working in a row, which probably should’ve been my first clue that this plan was… optimistic at best 🤪

Safe to say I pushed it a bit too far this time.
I’m super disappointed to miss today — I was really looking forward to it! If you’re heading along, have the best day and enjoy all the scaly goodness for me 🐍✨
I’ll be back to regular chaos shortly… just slightly more rested (and maybe a little wiser) 💚

Hi, hello, I’m alive. Barely. Slightly feral. 😂

Running purely on heart attack juice (energy drinks) & chaos 💥

The past few weeks have been:

• critters doing critter things (including being dramatic for no reason)
• pet transport mayhem with kilometres racking up like I’m trying to break a world record
• accidentally booking an interstate job this Fri/Saturday before the expo (because I had a blonde moment about what day it was)

BUT—I'm back, semi-organised (don’t fact check that), and just in time for the important stuff…

Who’s coming to the Illawarra Reptile Show & Expo?!

I’ll be there with scaly chaos, as I'm bringing some spicy noodles as well as the froggies 🐸🐍
Come say hi, talk reptiles, enable my bad decisions, or just witness the madness in person 😌

I don’t know who I am either 😆

Even after brand new froggy container lids decided to have a little malfunction (because of course they did), we are packed and cruising on time (ish) for once in my chaotic life.
