Clinton McDonald Racing Clinton McDonald Racing is located at the Cranbourne training centre in Victoria. Founded by Clinton's Grandfather Fred Hoysted.

Clinton McDonald is the great grandson of trainer and Hall of Fame inductee Fred Hoysted, grandson of respected horseman Bon Hoysted and son of multiple Group 1-winning trainer Ross McDonald, who most notably prepared champion galloper Weekend Hussler. Like many trainers, he began as a breaker and pre-trainer prior to taking out his license. In his short career McDonald has already carved out an impressive resume racking up three Group 1 wins with his Caulfield specialist Regal Roller.
