So this happened last Saturday, Ivy gained her Tracking Grand Champion title, the highest title achievable in tracking. Super proud of her, she had sheep running around her on her track but she resisted the urge to do what she is bred for and herd them 😆. Tracking competitions are held in farming properties , the dog has to find a lost person in the paddock using their nose to follow the scent of the person until they find them . This title is a new level of Tracking that came in last year, Ivy has been retired from competitions for 7 years so she has done really well at 10 years of age to come out of retirement and gain this new title. She just loves sniffing in the paddocks , hopefully tux will begin his tracking career next winter, this pic is with our judge
