White Angels Horse Rescue Our passion is to save and provide a second chance for neglected and abused horses. We buy horses from the auctions that otherwise go to the slaughter houses.

White Angels Horse Rescue is situated in the Kinglake Ranges outside Melbourne, Australia. Our aim is to rescue neglected and abused horses, whether it be from the horse auctions, or individual people. When horses come here they are washed, rugged, wormed and immunised. They get their teeth and feet done and live in quarantine paddocks until they are seen by our vet. After that our rehab program i

s implemented. Once our team have nursed these horses back into health and they are mentally and physically able, they start their in-hand natural horsemanship education and agility program. Once we feel that a horse is ready both physically and mentally, we wish to find that horse a forever home with someone capable of the love and care that it deserves. Some of our horses are already educated when we get them, and can go into many different disciplines from dressage and eventing to western pleasure and trail rides.

She doesn’t know she’s hard to adopt.

Maisey doesn’t know she’s been waiting over 3 years.
She doesn’t know that being a little different makes people scroll past.
She doesn’t know that her quirks, the same ones that make her so special, are what keep her waiting.

All Maisey knows is how happy she felt that weekend away, sun on her back, sand under her feet, love in every moment.
For the first time, she belonged.

Now, she’s back behind the shelter fence, waiting.

She doesn’t need perfect.
She just needs someone, strong, experienced, patient, to see her, love her, and never look back.

Could that someone be you?

Companion home needed
Free to good home on behalf of owner.
This is Perry he is 19 years old 15hh quite by nature easy to catch groom and have his teeth and feet done, up to date with worming and vaccinations.
Perry is easy to keep living off what's in the paddock at any time of year and some hay. Perry had an operation some years ago after he injured his withers now resulting in him having no withers. However he was still able to be ridden around 2 years ago without problems. Having said that he has not been ridden since then.
Perry is looking for his forever home somewhere where he can get the care and love he is looking for.

Please message me on 0433527896 if you are serious and would like to come say hi. Located in the North eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Chocolate Breed: unknown Age: unknown Colour: dark brown with 4 white socks Bought from Echuca sale yard in January 2015 Height: approximately 15hh Chocolate is unhandled but she is not difficult to deal with. She is fearful of humans but not vicious in any way. Chocolate is a lesson in patience - It was 3 years before she let me scratch her withers!! Now she loves a scratch and a brush but always on her terms. Bum scratch is her favourite. Chocolate is not float trained but knows what to do on truck transport. She was trucked down from Echuca and the transport people said she just knew what to do. Cookie Son of Chocolate. Arrived with her from Echuca in January 2015. At the time he was approximately 2 months old. Age: 9 Height: approximately 14hh Breed: unknown but has faded Appaloosa colouring. He was chestnut with white rump until his first winter. Cookie has had basic ground work training over the years. He is always eager to do something and always the first one at the gate, ready for action. Cookie is easy to catch, extremely gentle and never pulls. He has float loaded but we did not get to take him for a ride. Cookie has lived his best life here and it shows in his quiet behaviour. Peanut Breed: Shetland Age: 27 Colour: chestnut Height: 9hh Bought from family in Nar Nar Goon in 2014 Peanut is a leading pony. He is headstrong and cheeky. He loves green grass but green grass does not like him. He can suffer from laminitis and needs attention in Spring and Summer. Peanut and Cookie are best friends and love chasing each other around the paddock Peanut is easy to do anything with, catch, float, trim, treat.

Hi horsey people. Due to catering if you are planning on attending this unique seminar then please register so I can make sure you are well fed and watered!
Registrations close on Friday 26th April so please contact Suzanne and register your attendance as there is a limit to the number of horses and spectators we can cater. Attendance will be confirmed after payment and there will be no opportunity to register on the day.
A reminder that this is a unique event discussing the very specialist areas of trauma and adverse life experiences. Suzanne is a highly trained exceptional and intuitive horse woman, Kristen - a very experienced and knowledgable Body Worker and me, a Trauma Specialist (humans). We will all be presenting and there will be a number of demonstrations and hands on work. .
This is a friendly, interactive experience so there will be plenty of time for Q&A's.
