If you haven't visited Gemsfield Stud for a while, you'll be pleasantly surprised next time you do!

Gone is the cattle grid entrance, replaced by an easy driveway - work by Webb’s Transport & Earthmoving ⚙️

The fancy new fence and re-positioned sign is the start of a series of work undertaken for us by Dunk group pty ltd ⚒️

We proudly support and recommend both companies which are locally owned and operated 👏🏻

The 3rd and final piece of the Foal Watch Puzzle at Gemsfield is the much anticipated foal due out of our show mare 𝙂𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚 who is a State, Royal and National Champion led and ridden.. it wasn't easy selecting a suitable Stud for her. We needed the looks, shape and performance record to compliment her .. and we found that in the exciting performance sire 𝙒𝙋 𝙎𝙢𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙚𝙧.

With accolades stacking up on both sides of this pedigree, and a unique cross of bloodlines, this foal will certainly be one to watch!

🙏🏼 With thanks to Cudgegong Valley Veterinary Services for their Embryo Transfer work and exceptional care of 𝘋𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘢 last season.

The beautiful black mare 𝙂𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙤 𝘽𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 is special to us in so many ways. She was a very successful show filly, capturing many Supremes in-hand. Sadly, she suffered a career ending injury while being broken in and was never campaigned under saddle. After a 6 month box confinement period following a surgery she wasn't meant to survive, she has become a true favourite. Although not having the luckiest breeding record, the 2 live foals produced have exceeded expectations.

𝘎 𝘚𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 (x Royalle Heart Throb) success in Yearling classes and future youth mount;
𝘎 𝘚𝘰 𝘗𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 (x Doongara Manpower) campaigned as a 2yo and future ASH Hack.

As Gemsfield transitions to more performance bloodlines, we are so excited for "Poppy's" 2025 foal by the outstanding athletic sire in 𝙃𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙡𝙬𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙣. An multiple Open campdraft winner and outstanding Sales Sire, this is a cross we hope will excel in both show and performance arenas.

With thanks to Rob Leach Equine for allowing us to use Congressman and Hagon's Equine for their outstanding vet work last year 👌🏼

Let the countdown continue ⏳️
