Remember our little love heart baby?🐣

Well, SHE HAS MUMMAS! 🥹😭

Nicknamed Lovey, our little White Crested Black Polish keeper has officially been adopted by not one, but TWO fluffy Silkie mummas and I honestly cannot cope with how sweet this is 💞

From Caddy spotting that tiny love heart on her head in the brooder, to now watching her snuggle in with her new mummas! The absolute BEST outcome 🥹

Little Lovey has officially found exactly where she belongs 🥰

Just as we were about to leave the brooder room tonight, Caddy (my 7yo) goes…

“Mum! That chick has a LOVE HEART on its head!” 🥹
Me: “What? Noooo…”

Looked into the brooder and THERE IT WAS 😭🖤 A perfect little love heart sitting right on top of this tiny White Crested Black Polish baby’s head.

Out of all the quirky little things we’ve seen here, this is definitely a first! 🥹

Safe to say, this one isn’t going anywhere 😂 so hit me with your cutest name suggestions!

Because apparently Little Farm is growing chickens with love hearts now 🥰🐣

A little late night road trip for some very precious cargo 🐣🥹

Helping these tiny babies on their journey back to the Hunter Valley, where a couple of broody mummas are patiently waiting 🤭🐥

There’s something pretty special about knowing that by tonight, these little babies will be tucked up warm under their new mummas. Right where they belong 🥹🤍🐣

A new home for these ladies today, requires a quick wash and blow dry at the salon 👸🏼💆‍♀️💅 Nothing but royal treatment here at Little Farm 🏡

Every single hatch here at Little Farm is equal parts nerve wracking and exciting 🐣

When I open Hatchy Mumma to a 100% hatch rate, the pride I feel in both my chookies and the knowledge I’ve gained along the way certainly shines through 🥹

There’s just something so rewarding about watching those little eggs turn into tiny, healthy, fluffy babies and knowing I helped them get there.

I absolutely LOVE what I get to do every day here at Little Farm 🥰

And I mean, just LOOK at these gorgeous little Polish babies heading off to the brooder! 😍🐥
