🐾 Itchy skin and sore ears don’t just start on the outside — they’re a sign the gut and immune system need support.

That’s why my go-to skin care essentials work inside → out:

🌿 Defend Immune Tonic – builds strong gut + immune defences
🌿 Restore Digestion Tonic – supports nutrient absorption + gut healing
🌿 Nourish Pet Tea – gentle detox + nervous system balance
🌿 Shield Spray – soothes itches + protects the coat
🌿 Soothing Balm – heals hot spots, paws + rashes

✨ Together, they form my Skin Support Bundle — a simple, natural way to get your dog started on the road to relief and recovery.

💚 Because when you heal the inside, the outside follows.

🐾 **Skin & ear health starts with what’s in the bowl.** 🥦🥩

👉 If you feed rubbish (highly processed, fast-food-style kibble), don’t be surprised when you see rubbish results: inflamed skin, itchy ears, and gut imbalance.

But if you want a dog with clear skin, healthy ears, and glowing vitality, here’s what I recommend:

🌿 Fresh, whole foods = less inflammation
🥩 Raw or lightly cooked meals = better digestion
🚫 Avoid over-processed kibble — no matter the label (unless it’s air-dried or freeze-dried, most are cooked at extreme temps and lose real nutrition)
✨ Add-ons like probiotics + omega oils = boosted healing

💚 Switching to *real food* is one of the most powerful things you can do for your pet’s health.

More than 70% of your pet’s immune system lives in their gut.

That’s why gut-healing foods and herbs can calm itchy skin 🐶🐱 and reduce ear infections.

Think of it like this:
💚 Healthy gut = strong immune system
💚 Strong immune system = happy skin + clear ears

💚 Share this with someone whose pet is always scratching or shaking their ears.

🚨 Did you know some chemical parasite preventatives have been linked to serious liver damage in dogs?

Research shows that mebendazole, a chemical parasite preventative, can cause serious liver damage and death in some dog breeds, with Dachshunds being particularly vulnerable.

This published study reported cases of vomiting, jaundice, hemorrhagic diarrhoea, and even liver failure leading to death.

⚠️ This is a powerful reminder that chemical preventatives aren’t always as “safe” as we’re led to believe.

That’s why I’m passionate about sharing natural, holistic approaches to parasite prevention 🌿🐾.

✨ Holistic Tip for Parasite Prevention ✨
Did you know your garden can play a big role in keeping your pets parasite-free? 🌱 By planting herbs like rosemary, mint, lavender, and lemongrass, you create a natural barrier that fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes don’t like—without relying on harsh chemicals.

Not only does this keep your pets healthier, it also supports the environment 🌏💚. It’s a simple way to work with nature, not against it—and that’s what holistic pet care is all about. 🐾💫

Is full natural parasite prevention right for your pet?
Let’s be honest — natural parasite prevention isn’t for everyone. And that’s okay!
Ask yourself:
🔍 Do you live in a high-risk tick area?
🧼 Can you commit to regular tick checks?
🧥 Does your pet have a thick coat that hides ticks easily?
🌧️ Was it a wet summer? That often means a bad tick season is coming.
You might still choose a tick collar like Seresto during peak times (starting NOW in August!)— and that doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It’s about balance and choosing what works for your pet, your lifestyle, and your peace of mind.
The key is that natural immunity can still develop, even if you're using some support tools along the way.

✨ Stay tuned — I’ll be sharing a Holistic Parasite Support Protocol soon!

How can you transition your pet off chemical parasite preventatives? 🐶🌱
You don’t need to go cold turkey. In fact, I don’t recommend it — especially if you live in a high-risk tick area.
Here’s a safer, more balanced approach:
1. ✅ Start building gut and immune health NOW (even if still using chemicals)
2. 🧼 Reduce toxic load where you can — diet, water, flea sprays, plastics, etc.
3. 💉 Do a titre test instead of repeat vaccinations
4. 🐾 Begin Tick Drops 2+ weeks before stopping chemical preventatives
5. 🧴 Use Shield Skin and Coat Spray daily in tick season
6. 👀 Daily tick checks — especially during warmer months
Your goal? A pet who doesn’t need to rely on constant chemicals to stay well.
Ultimately - a pet who is immune to the paralysis tick toxin.

Did you know that 70–80% of your pet’s immune system lives in their gut?
When the gut is inflamed or out of balance (aka dysbiosis), your pet becomes more vulnerable — not just to parasites, but also to:
🔁 Itchy skin
🔁 Recurrent ear infections
🔁 Allergies
🔁 Autoimmune issues
🔁 Behavioural changes
Healing starts with the gut. That’s why one of the most powerful things you can do is nourish and rebalance the microbiome.
🌿 My go-to supports?
Restore Digestion Tonic – wild-fermented and gut-loving
Nourish Pet Tea – soothing, detoxifying, biofilm-busting
✨Together, they help create an internal environment where parasites (and disease) can’t thrive.
