That’s a wrap for the Walgett Shire Council Desexing scheme for June 2025! Our NorthWest Vets team desexed 42 dogs under the scheme to help prevent unwanted litters.
Thanks to WSC ranger Paul Flint for all of his hard work and support.

💥🦟 FIGHT THE BITE 🦟💥

Mosquitos and sandflies are on the rise again after the recent rain! Just like us our furry friends also feel the irritation and itching sensation after a bite, increases the risk of heartworm and in severe cases can make your dog unwell.
To prevent this, we recommend treating your dogs with Advantix, which is stocked in all of our clinics! Advantix also prevents ticks & fleas, and is safe to use in puppies 🐶
