🐴🏆 SO PROUD OF OUR BOYS! 🏆🐴

Once again, we couldn’t be prouder of our boys Dustin & Charlie, both qualifying for the ABCRA Campdraft National Finals in North Star 2026! 🎉

And a very special congratulations to Charlie — in his first ever Campdraft season, qualifying for the Nationals at just 9 years of age is one absolutely amazing achievement! 👏🤠 What a way to kick off your Campdraft career!

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make the trip over to North Star this year, but we’ll certainly be cheering for everyone else heading over to compete from WA🌟

We are incredibly proud of you both! ❤️

Coming home from being away to something special in the mailbox, I finally received my

🌟NCHA ARIAT SnaffleBit Champion buckle for Area 1 (WA). 🌟

It may only be the SnaffleBit, but it’s the largest class, and there’s some top competition here in WA, and I’m so proud to have achieved this goal 🙌💪

Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without my little ‘smarty’ pony, “Majarra”, and Jenny Taylor for trusting me & allowing me the opportunity to show and have this amazing horse on the truck; he sure is a little powerhouse 💝

And to everyone who has turned back or done herd hold for me over the year, thank you 🙏.

So why not give something new a shot 🤷‍♀️ since Campdraft and cutting are taking a winter snooze, we figured we'd saddle up and try Ranch Sorting! What can we say, everyone's been super welcoming, ridiculously fun, and honestly, the grub everywhere has been on point!!! It's just a fabulous bunch of fun-loving, slightly unhinged, cow-obsessed folks having a blast while getting competitive, all while herding cows around! Let me tell you, who knew 0-9 could be so mind-bogglingly complicated 😂🤣 (okay, maybe for some, not so much for others, no names mentioned, wink) we've managed to cart off a few wins and placings over three events from Peel Ranch Sorting and Penning and S&L Horse Services. Massive thanks to these Clubs for rolling out the red carpet and hosting the most side-splitting weekends - well done, these events are top-notch 👍
Also thank you Jason Johnson & Astrid McCagh for housing us and the horses down South, what beautiful views to wake up and see every morning we were spoiled! And Cindy Atkins for teaming up and enjoying the weekend before your Crazy began, even pulling off a Win Together 💪💪 girl power 🙌🙌💝

Anzac Long weekend at the Gingin Campdraft , we had A dawn Service, birthdays with Stephanie Johnson, Freezing 🥶 nights beautiful days, and challenging cattle but all in all great weekend for the last draft till spring 😁 the kids stayed home to enjoy the Harvey show so it was a fun weekend away just the two of us and only 4 horses instead of the whole team. Received an amazing gift of home made Whisky with this amazing Label 🙌 thanks Alysia Tringrove and Jimmy made a new little friend 🤭
So happy with the horses,
Steph managed to finally get a ride on her main man in the encouragement and came away with a 6th place 🙌🌟
Jimmy pulled off the Top Cut out Win in the Novice with McDonald’s double Destiny after a run off, Smarty and I , got into the top cut out run off with Darcy Nancarrow for the Open but Darcy took the honours and secured the win.
I also got two outside scores in the open but just missed out getting into the finals.
All in all another lovely weekend away with the horses.
