Cooktown boarding kennels are looking absolutely stunning with the new kennel addition and new established gardens, they're truly a remarkable transformation!
There will be a lot of activity while the large dog kennels have maintenance carried out in the months of September and October 2025 , bookings will still continue as usual during this time , the end result of the matanence will be impressive .
I look forward to meeting and working with new and exsisting clients for the rest of the year 2025 .

Cooktown boarding kennels & cattery have had a busy festive and new year !
I had spent my holidays with sooo many great dogs and cats to look after.
I'm pretty sure we are going to have another bumper tourist season with many bookings already !
My small dog kennel upgrade/addition has been a big project and is now complete (see photos attached )
Thank you too everyone who have made bookings the past year and into the new year it's been an absolute pleasure to work with everyone of you and your pets .

my updates have been minimal ,working hard in the back ground has been intensive to say the least ,work and building arrangements have been challenging .
Finally i have made a wonderfully built small dog area ready for multiple dog bookings , the areas are individual , heaps of space for a little to medium dog .
Thank you to all my local and visitors who have made my expansion possible .

Cooktown has grown in the past 12 months I'm sure locals have noticed ,working on my expansion has been productive and delays have been a hindrance .
The cattery has some really cute additions of scratching posts and bedding .
I need to mention my idea of dog space per dog was designed for room and freedom ,which means ample space for long and short stays .
My small and older dog expansion is in progress and I really hope to have this finished by the end of the year.
I need to mention our new rural Cooktown Stockfeeds have been able to provide good quality food .
Thank you to everyone who have made bookings over the past 24 months ,this has enabled the kennels to expand and offer a top notch service and continue to provide the perfect dog and cat care for our region .
I will update again on the expansion and hopefully be able to accommodate all my local and visitor bookings .

TELSTRA SERVICES UPDATE
ALL PHONE LINES AND TEXT CAPABILITIES HAVE BEEN RESTORED . JUNE 6TH @ 6.15 PM.
Phone and internet services are not working at Cooktown boarding kennels , I will not be able to take any further bookings until the services are working again ,the time frame for services to be back on line is planned for the 12th of June .
bookings within the time frame of the 6th of June to the 12th of june are still scheduled to go ahead with our agreed book in and book out times .

Cooktown boarding kennels & cattery are situated in Cooktown in the far north of QLD , spacious kennels and cattery .
boarding costs: $30 - $45 per day including meals and kitty litter .

It has been quite a few weeks since my last boarding kennel/cattery update , it was Soo good to get back to work with a trickle of bookings well into April ,the cattery garden is looking fabulous ,one of my favourite places at the boarding kennel .
My project to remodel my small to medium dog yards/kennels has become a reality and should start refurbishments June /July 2024 , I'm so excited to finally do this project after meticulously planning so it will be perfect for my boarding dogs and to work with !

What a great start to the year 2024!
Xmas bookings mixed with cyclone Jasper, was quite a challenge,we all managed so well,once every thing settled down with the flooding,then came the rearranging bookings ,cancellations and making sper of the moment new bookings helping displaced families with their pets .
The new year will bring some really positive changes to cooktown boarding kennels ,extending kennel space and a new small dog area .
Cat spaces are 4 ATM which keeps up with cat bookings during the year .
Bookings are best made through Facebook messanger ,text ,I will be able to get back to any booking usually within hours ,if you need to call and It gos unanswered please leave a message so I know to get back to you .
2024 has a very special feel that's is going to be a fabulous year !
