🐾Great news for our pet parents!

We’re excited to make vet visits a little easier with our new FetchPay integration. 🐶🐱

🧡 What does this mean for you?

If you have pet insurance with FetchPay, you’ll now only need to pay the gap for any approved claims, rather than paying the full vet bill upfront and waiting for your insurance reimbursement.

That means less financial stress and more time to focus on what matters most — keeping your furry family members happy and healthy! 🐾❤️

Have questions? Speak with our friendly team to find out more about using FetchPay at your next visit.

🧡🐾 AFTER-HOURS VETERINARY CARE 🐾🧡

We understand that pets do not always need veterinary care during regular business hours. To support our clients when urgent concerns arise, we offer an after-hours veterinary service.

If you require veterinary assistance after hours, please call our clinic on 08 9734 1155.
Our recorded message will provide you with a separate after-hours number to contact the veterinarian on call.

📞 When calling the after-hours number, please leave a message including:

➖Your name
➖Your contact number
➖A brief description of your pet’s condition or concern

Our on-call veterinarian may already be attending to another patient or managing an emergency. If you have not received a return call within 30 minutes, we recommend contacting your next preferred after-hours veterinary service to ensure your pet receives care as promptly as possible.

🚨If you believe your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please do not wait for a return call. We recommend travelling directly to the nearest 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital, located in Mandurah.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us provide the best possible after-hours care to you our clients and your pets 🐶🧡🐱

📢 Hookworm detected in local dogs 📢

During our recent Senior Wellness Month, faecal testing identified hookworm infections in multiple dogs that attended our clinic.

Cases have been found in dogs from Collie, Darkan, and surrounding areas, reminding us how important regular parasite prevention is.

🪱 Hookworms can make dogs unwell and, in some cases, can also affect people. Humans can pick up hookworms from contaminated environments linked to infected dogs, so protecting your pets helps protect your family too.

Keep your pets safe by:
✅ Staying up to date with regular worming treatments
✅ Picking up dog faeces promptly
✅ Using effective parasite prevention suitable for your dog

Need to check your dog’s protection? Pop into our Collie clinic and our team can help you choose the right worming treatment for your pet. 🐶 🧡

🎉🐾 SENIOR MONTH GIVEAWAY – WEEK 2 WINNER! 🐾🎉

Congratulations to the gorgeous Penelope! 💕🐶

This very cute 9-year-old Bull Terrier is a patient at our Collie Vet Hospital and recently came in for her Senior Wellness Month check-up, including blood tests and a faecal (poo 😜) sample.

Her results were tracking with her current symptoms, but we also had a little surprise find… Penelope tested positive for hookworm! 🪱😳

This is a great reminder of why keeping your pet’s worming treatment up to date is so important — and why we include a faecal test as part of our senior diagnostics. Sometimes there can be things going on that aren’t obvious from the outside!

Thankfully, we caught it and can get Penelope sorted. 🩺❤️

As our Week 2 winner, Penelope is heading home with 12 MONTHS WORTH OF NEXGARD SPECTRA! 🎁🐾 Talk about a prize!

Well done, Penelope — you were an absolute superstar! ⭐️💕

Stay tuned for next week’s Senior Month winner! 👀🎉

🎉🐾 **SENIOR MONTH GIVEAWAY – WEEK 1 WINNER!** 🐾🎉

Congratulations to this handsome boy, Boots! 💙🎁

Boots visited our Dianella Vet Hospital for his Senior Wellness Month check-up, with his brother Diesel 🐱🐱 They were both absolute stars!

The best news? Boots’ results came back healthy! 🥳🩺 We now have some great baseline results on file, which will be super helpful if anything changes as he gets older.

Boots is heading home with 3 months of 4CYTE® for Cats to support his joints and mobility. 🐾

Arthritis can be sneaky in cats — they’re experts at hiding discomfort! 😼 Regular senior checks can help us spot those subtle changes early and keep our feline friends feeling their best. ❤️

Well done, Boots! Enjoy your prize! 🎉🐾

Stay tuned for next week’s winner! 👀🎁
