The night-time routine …

Lulu and Gracie snuggle on the bed for cuddles until they are told ‘Off’

Blessie has figured this out and is not happy going to her crate until she’s had her night-time bed cuddle.

Very cute how Blessie has woven her way into the routines and protocols in the home 🏡

Lulu is rediscovering her puppy days getting right in on the games and play with Blessie. Blessie is 10 weeks old tomorrow 😎

Blessie is settling in well to MiriCol Paws 🐾 she’s a fire 🔥 cracker and loves her plays with Lulu and Gracie.

We’re loving watching these playtime antics and interactions!!

Usually a puppy goes off their their food for the first few days when they come to a new home. The stress of the transition affects their gut.

Not Blessie!!

She’s eating like she’s been here forever!! And Lulu and Gracie are enjoying the leftovers.

She has settled really well.

The big adventure of life begins for Blessie.
We will be adding her to our breeding programme at MiriCol Paws. She is going to bring some salt and pepper and party genes which will be exciting to see.

Recommendations for settling a new puppy into your home.

🏡 Show them the most IMPORTANT space first …where to potty.
🐶Blessie will be given access to the front yard during the day. At night there will be a peice of grass in her pen for her to potty on.

🏡 introduce them slowly to their home space
🐶 Blessie is getting used to the front yard space and deck. Also the bedroom where she will sleep in a crate and pen for the first month or so.

🏡Introduce them to the family and the fur family a little at a time.
🐶Blessie has already, in just few hours, chosen me as her safe person!! She’s curious about Lulu and Gracie and starting to interact with them.

I’ll be keeping them separate if I leave the house. Just so there’s no ganging up on her by the older girls!! Also she will feel safe in her crate and pen.

As I add new features into Blessie’s space and transition to her new home, I’ll share them with you.

Blessie is on her way to MiriCol Paws 🐾 in Collie.

She’s travelling really well and sleeping 💤 now.

Heading STRAIGHT home!! It’s a big day for a little puppy when they fly the the puppy 🐶 pen.

We want to minimise stress for her. So the fewer ‘new’ experiences for her the better.
