Top of the Range 🏔️

Lindall Sarina and I got 2nd in the Endurance ridden class which had a great turnout of competitors for the Downs Arabian Club! Super happy with my Sarina Pie today 🥧🤍

Dunbar Apollo came 5th in the Novice Endurance Class
Dunbar Mazerati came 4th in the Endurance Purebred Gelding Class
Lindall Sarina came 4th in the Endurance Purebred Mare Class

It was a great day out, thank you to the Downs Arabian Club and Dick Colleyer for putting on the Endurance classes it’s so nice to go out and do something different!

Taking our endurance horses out for something different, by attending the Top of the Range show run by the Downs Arabian Club!

We’re entered in the Endurance Novice class with Dunbar Apollo shown by Ashleigh Grassick.

We’re excited to have our 2 brothers out and about from our resident stallion Bacchante Patriot.

QLD State Champs 2025

Dunbar Apollo is now an Open Endurance horse!

Ridden by Alycia, Apollo did very well in his qualifying 80k. He will only be for sale for a few more weeks. If not sold, he will be taken off the market and prepared for the 2026 QLD Quilty.

Dunbar Apollo
(Bacchante Patriot x Dunbar Jazz)

Apollo is a 14.1HH, 9 year old bay Purebred Arabian gelding.

He’s done pony club days, clinics, lessons in an arena, can be trail ridden alone and in a group. He is 1 x 80km away from being an open endurance horse so would be a good horse to get a rider Quilty qualified this year for the QLD Quilty in 2026.

Easy to clip, shoe, catch, lead/tie up and float.

He’s a very laidback and easy going horse with no major quirks or vices. He’s a solid completion horse, I believe he would make a good marathon horse if that interests you.

He has done both a micro and a mini marathon, his half brother is a proven marathon runner with multiple placings. Apollo gives a nice and easy smooth ride no matter the environment, does not pull or rush, and is quite happy to travel along at the pace you set.

We bred Apollo so know him very well, but he is for sale on behalf of his owner.

He has siblings on both his sire and dam line that have competed well in Endurance, in Australia and overseas.

40km at the Warwick Endurance Ride @ Inglewood on the 5th of April

Took the boys for their first 40k for 2025.

A quiet end to another successful year at Dunbar Arabians. This year Ashleigh Grassick and Dunbar Caspian both achieved their 2nd Tom Quilty buckle and had another 100% completion year with 360km completed.
This saw Dunbar Caspian achieve the coveted Qld Endurance 1500km 100% completion rug award.
A big thanks to all the volunteers and ride organisers who make these events possible.
Looking forward to another year out on the trails.
