So after a 30yr hiatus from the dog obedience trial ring I returned yesterday with the old girl Kirrah, who is grandma to the current litter. Ballarat obedience club held an obedience and rally trial. I figured what the hell let's give it a go!
Well it's fair to say Dienamic Miss Kirrah was a very good girl.
We came away with 2 passes and a 1st place. The only mistake Kirrah made all day was she didn't sit in the second trial during our figure of 8. Which unfortunately cost us a placing but we still came away with a pass. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
I'm an incredibly proud dog mumma.

Lacey and Zuko's litter are 2wks old today.
They've been wormed and had their nails trimmed. I'm currently public enemy number 1.

Lacey's D Day is getting closer. Ultrasound said 6 bubbas but X-rays could only see 4. What do you guys think? I'm really hoping there's 6 for the sake of my puppy people. Either way she has at least 1 whopper in there and will require a c section.
Not ideal but it's good to be forewarned and avoid a catastrophe.
