• 100 % owner funded (including pet insurance)

🚑 Human health care:
• 70.8% government funded
• 13.8% privately funded
• 15.4% out-of-pocket

Today’s pet owners rightly expect high-quality care for their animals, often on par with human medical standards. Veterinary teams work tirelessly to meet these expectations, and tailor care to each individual circumstance. But unlike human health care, which is largely supported by government programs like Medicare and the PBS, veterinary care receives no government funding and is fully paid by pet owners.

🐾🎉 Celebrating a huge milestone today! Our brave girl Tikka just completed her LAST day of chemotherapy! 💪🐶

Tikka has been undergoing care for mammary cancer with her vet, Dr Taneeka, which has included three surgical procedures, multiple diagnostic screenings, and a 14-week chemotherapy protocol. Throughout her treatment, she has shown remarkable resilience and strength.

It has been a privilege to be part of her journey, and we’re optimistic about the road ahead. Congratulations, Tikka! 💛

Friday Fortnight ago saw us celebrate another year with our wonderful and dedicated farming clients.

The weather held off for us all to enjoy a lamb spit masterfully prepared by Dr Sam Chatfield. And of course a few cold bevvies.

We were grateful to have Bill Tom make a special appearance, joining forces with Karen to deliver a spectacular bag pipe serenade.

We want to again acknowledge the commitment and skill of our local farmers. We are proud of the work our farmers do and grateful to them for allowing us to contribute to the health of their animals.

It’s SPRING 🌱🌼 Which makes it the PERFECT time to perform Faecal Egg Counts on ALL of your horses !

We are super proud to offer our clients in-house equine faecal egg counts. Thanks to our friends at we are one of the first clinics in the whole of Victoria utilising this new technology to deliver FAST (same day) and ACCURATE results.

The newest equine deworming protocols released by the AAEP strongly recommend individualised deworming protocols based on faecal egg count results and spring happens to be the best time to perform those counts.
