Hello everyone,
It has been 24 hours since we welcomed Mia into our pack, and following an eventful day of socialization, walks, and playtime, we have achieved a harmonious coexistence. All three dogs are currently relaxing and sleeping together on the bed.
What steps did we take to achieve this outcome so far? The straightforward answer is that on the first day and night, the dogs were kept separate, allowing them to become familiar with each other's presence behind a door. This enabled them to sniff each other without the risk of any conflicts. Notably, Odin and Mia had previously met for a brief social session, which went smoothly.
We have made rapid progress in integrating the dogs, but I must advise that this accelerated approach is not recommended for the average pet owner when introducing a new dog to their pack. My extensive experience in socializing dogs, gained through years of working as a dog walker, pet owner, and dog trainer, has been instrumental in achieving this successful outcome.
