I sell birds, fertile eggs and can post eggs Australia wide. (Please note I don’t breed to sell laying hens.)

Is there any interest in day old commercial meat chickens or commercial day old female laying chickens? Would be around $12.50ea for meats and $16.50ea for female laying chickens (vaccinated) depending on order size. Trying to get a rough idea on numbers. Could deliver to emerald or pick up Clermont. Would not happen until September but need to book ahead so just seeing what interest there maybe. If you could comment if you would be interested in meat or layer chickens and a rough number that would be great. They would be day olds and still need heat. (There would be pre orders closer too if it does go ahead this is simply EOI)

Considering parting with my Shamos if anyone is interested in the breed and wants in to keep working on it I would prefer they go to someone interested in them. I have put eight years into improving them so would like someone else to continue working on the rare breed. Two white roosters around 10 hens one partridge, around five blacks and four whites I need to do a head count on the females. Maybe able to split them up. Located Clermont can deliver to Rockhampton end of the month if needed.

Today was very interesting being on the other side of the clip board and being the judge for the day. Thank you to Springsure Show for having me I greatly enjoyed looking at all your lovely birds. Grand champion bird of show was a large light Sussex rooster. He was a stand out bird right from the start, large, well feathered, great condition, good type and should hopefully produce some show quality offspring in the future. The number of birds in the kids classes was very impressive and the quality of the kids birds was spectacular. I hope some of the kids enter their birds in the open section at future shows as they definitely stand a chance in the open sections.
