Adopters also welcome as all bunnies will be available for adoption 🤩

This is also a great chance to come chat to us for any information and advice on bunnies, foster caring or adopting and volunteering ❤️

SYDNEY YOU ARE AMAZING 🤩

THANK YOU to everyone who supported and came by to our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and Bake Sale yesterday at Bunnings Alexandria 😍💚 we had a PHENOMENAL day and turnout 🐰

We raised almost $5000 for the bunnies through all vegan and cruelty free snags 🌱 and sold 1320 sausages in total 🥹 double the amount sold at our last sausage sizzle ❤️ we couldn’t have done this without your support!

Today we took a little walk around The Rabbit Sanctuary and had a look at the Bunny Barn and watched the Grafton branch of TAFE with the students cleaning the Bunny Barn. We talked about the Hay that we’ve using to create a “6 Hay Mix” to share with all the general public. We’re selling it on our fundraising website. I’ll put a link so you can go buy some for your Bunnies and support the Sanctuary’s rescue work with your money. We would love that www.rabbitrescue.shop -studies

The Rabbit Sanctuary is a 25 acre property in Grafton Northern New South Wales where Rabbits come that cannot be rehomed for various reasons and they live their lives out here in peace and tranquility .

BIGGEST BUNNY RUN
Did you know that The Rabbit Sanctuary volunteers deliver rescue bunnies to their next point on their journey to a new life?

The Rabbit Sanctuary volunteers just completed the largest Bunny Run for 2025 from Canberra with two buns returning to The Rabbit Sanctuary in Grafton and buns going to join the run from Maclean to Sydney.

15 hours of driving for two voluntees!

9 bunnies moved forward on their journey to a better life, with just one bun waiting in foster care in Sydney for his ♥️Adopter to collect him. She is driving up from Melbourne 💕🐰💕.

How cool is this amazing volunteer effort to help the rescue bunnies?

We have a special little boy up for adoption today. Meet Buddy Boy! 🥰

He’s a special needs rabbit with a unique condition with his back left leg and hip.
This doesn’t bother Buddy at all, and it’s most likely a developmental issue, as assessed by the vet, rather than a result of a dislocation.

Buddy Boy is fully mobile and incredibly friendly. The main requirement is a low litter box, so he doesn’t need to jump.

He has many nicknames—from “Set Square” (because he can measure 90-degree angles) to “Hypotenuse” and “SohCahToa.” 😁😁

Buddy is fully vet-checked, desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped. He’s located on the Central Coast of NSW.

Chappo is a tiny, clever rabbit looking for his forever home! ❤️🐰

This little gentleman loves nothing more than spending time with his humans, munching on tasty ha, and showcasing his impressive architectural skills - building elaborate hotels out of cardboard boxes is his specialty!

At 1.4kg, he may be small, but he’s got a huge personality and an even bigger heart.

If you’re looking for a furry friend to brighten up your life, this little bun is the perfect companion!

MARK NEEDS YOUR HELP 🙏🏻 This beautiful boy, Mark Fluffalo ,came into our care late last year, with a massive, bulging red eye. We immediately arranged for him to see an exotic vet, where we learned the extent of his health issues 😢

- His eye issue was caused by his third eyelid popping out, and he was also covered in mites.
- A CT scan revealed that Mark required double LECA surgery to treat his ear infections
- He also required dental surgery to remove a painfully sharp tooth.

So far, Mark has successfully undergone dental surgery, and he’s recovering beautifully. He’s also been desexed which helped reduce the swelling of his eye.

‼️However, he still needs LECA surgery for his ear infections to improve his quality of life. This is an expensive surgery, and with all the other treatments and diagnostics that have come at huge costs, we really need your help. Help us give him the care he deserves 🙏🏻

Mark is a truely remarkable bunny. Through it all, Mark has shown nothing but sweetness, patience, and resilience. He handles every treatment with a level of calm that inspires us every day. Despite the challenges, he remains a loving, gentle little fighter—and we are so incredibly proud of him.

🚨 Our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser is Less Than 2 Weeks Away! 🚨

We’re excited to announce that the BAKE SALE is back! 🎉 Thanks to the incredible Kacey from Plant Power Popup, we’ll have a delicious selection of vegan cakes, cookies, donuts, and lamingtons - all freshly baked! 🧁🍰

Kacey is a talented local Sydney baker who runs a micro vegan home bakery and dessert bar, serving up mouthwatering treats every Saturday at the Rozelle Collectors Market. This time, she’s baking even more goodies just for our fundraiser! 🍪🍩🎂

BUNNY RUNNING! A wonderful way to volunteer in person if you cannot foster (or, as well as fostering!) 🐰❤️

Watch our amazing Diana as she spends part of her day as a volunteer bunny runner! She picked up some donations and took bunnies to the vet for their vet working.

We also often have bunnies needing to travel to adopters, or between foster carers.
