Meet Betty, our newest little friend! When we first met, she was feeling quite unsure and needed a little extra patience and encouragement to feel safe.
We took things at her pace, starting slowly with:
• Gentle presence to let her get used to a new face.
• Tasty treats placed nearby to build positive associations.
• Quiet patience while she decided when to come out on her own.
Before long, she was eating right from my hand! After a few short trust building visits she is now confidently zooming around the backyard.
