Looking for a weekend away with your horse riding in the Victorian High Country?
We have some spots available on 15-17 May and would love to host you and your friends. Delve into the King Valley, North East Victoria for a weekend of riding, wining, dining and mining, all within a short distance from our beautiful 200 acre property where your horse will have its own accommodation in a double fenced yard of grass. Our rides are safe and controlled with your safety coming first. Your guides and hosts Kayleen & Jamie are accredited with Horse Safety Australia and love to share stories and knowledge. Many will know Kayleen through Pony Club, HRCAV, EA, Archery or Working Equitation. Jamie is well known for rodeo, Light Horse, history reenactments and Cattleman’s. Together we blend our knowledge and experience.
Your accommodation is your own … float, tent, swag or caravans welcome. We have a camp kitchen and amenities block.

Today we had the pleasure of representing the Beechworth History and Heritage Society in the Golden Horseshoe Festival raising awareness of the preservation and a new home needed for Beechworth’s historical horse drawn vehicles. Thank you Jenny Philpotts for bringing Cameo and your involvement and support. Cameo was an absolute star!
Jamie was also given a last minute role of supporting the Golden Horseshoe horse Koda through the large daunting crowds. It’s such a big ask for horses to cope in that environment and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Wow! What an awesome weekend with amazing people! Started with dinner at the Brewery on Friday where we were joined by another friend (Brooke) who was passing thru, Saturday breakfast was yummy Hobbledehoy coffee & croissants then a ride to and tour of the Turquoise Mines in the Black Range followed by an afternoon at Gracebrook Winery with their delicious platters then a BBQ dinner at home. Sunday morning started with a home cooked breakfast then saddled up for a ride to Chrismont Winery for tastings. The creek crossing was a little challenging for one fellow but he put his big boy pants on and over he went. Then we hit the hills again and went off grid through the bush to the rock ledges. We were all so tired that everyone stayed an extra night and off to the local pub we went followed by time around the fire pit. A few left early this morning and the rest went for breakfast and coffee! It was so good! NikNak PaddyWhack and Austin Powers excelled in their duties as tour guides.
We have another ride on offer on 15-17 May so if you think you’d like to join us, reach out! After winter we will hold a ride in October, November and early December.
