Can cornfirm, your furbabies like having random made up songs sung to them- even the cranky ones pull that 'one ear rotated away' quizzical expression and come a little closer! 😆

Interesting reason to struggle to keep the kennel dogs qiiet- Not only bright moonlight, but also repeatedly there were male deer fighting in the moonlight through the paddocks!

We'd go out and the clashing antler sounds would die down but 5 minutes later, back at it. They've not been so persistent before.

I tried to record it but of course 😆 just a normal phone camera, so it was a purple and black blur.

Sounded fiesty tho. I'm sure I heard someone lose an antler (or break a big branch!)

Please note: Of course we screened the dogs so they couldn't see the deer, but they could definitely hear, and were downwind of the deer.

We do not own the dogs in the kennels, are limited in what we are legally permitted to do to keep them quiet, and our home is in the firing line for the maximum volume of their noise- trust us, WE CARE when they're being noisy 😵‍💫

PSA to everyone cleaning up mould in home and yard;

💝Check your mould cleaning products for your pets safety💝

It's easy to forget that many common mould cleaning products safe for humans can be very bad for pets, or very bad under certain circumstances.

For example, low lying fumes that we wouldn't smell, or wouldn't bother us, but your cat on the floor has got a nosefull of it, and much smaller lungs to cope with it.

Always check safety directions for references to pets, and/or read the material safety data sheet, including sections for pet or animal effects.
(Often you can just google ' material safety data sheet product name')

This includes products for ground in your yard.

We've got to avoid so so many common products to make sure there's no harmful fumes or chemical residues for pets who are in.

Apologies we didn't think of sharing this information sooner!

We've been trialing things since the product we used to use discontinued, hence it coming to mind to share. 😅
So many MDS sheets read 😵‍💫 So many dissappointing. So many kennels suppliers selling disinfectants unsafe for our specific purposes 🤦‍♀️

It will for others, so this unforunate outage seems to only be affecting you! It gives us the "You are no longer able to send messages to this person. Learn more." in the message bar. Talk about facebook being stupid! 🙄
My husband did try to contact you, but you thought he was spam. He can be a bit of a goof, so I suppose it's fair that you can call him that😅

Phew, power back, can give a better update!

A few creeped out pups needed reassurance, but when we got to work cleaning up a fallen tree near our home they seemed to take it as a que things were back to normal, and watched us as the afternoons entertainment. Probably grieving the travesty that was the premium quality sticks we were cutting up! Bit too big for fetch though.

Went out to toilet my boys at midnight and got the usual tone of scolding from the boarders, rather than fear, when I flicked my torch across the kennels 😅 Whoops! Didn't mean to wake them!
But they all settled again once I stopped lighting up their bedrooms.
They were a little shook- heck, EVERYONE was- but no one has been crying or whimpering, tails have wagged as normal and ears are up.

Our hours and prices over the Christmas break are the same as always regardless of public holidays.

8-10am Monday to Saturday, and 4-7 Monday to Friday
