Many of you may have heard of the emerging presence of highly contagious Avian Influenza in WA. Whilst it has not yet spread to our area, it is a serious and notifiable disease, and we all need to be vigilant to protect our wildlife and pet bird populations. You can help by adhering to the following guidelines. Please DO NOT bring any sick wildlife or pet birds in to our clinic with our first speaking to our staff, we will advise you on what to do.

We will be closed from this evening for the Anzac Day long weekend, and will reopen at 8.30am on Tuesday morning. If your pet is urgently unwell or you have an emergency, please contact either SASH at Tuggerah, AREC at Broadmeadow, or ARH at West Gosford.
