Newcastle VIP Dog Sitting

Newcastle VIP Dog Sitting Looking after your dog in our family home since 2015. DOG SITTING within our home at Charlestown. Owners will need to cover costs for any repairs.

Officially opening applications for our Muppet litter. Their mum Luna is a beautiful French bulldog and their dad was a pug.
We have 5 handsome little boys and 2 sweet little girls (Miss Piggy and Skeeter) available for adoption. They will only be available to NSW and ACT homes and NOT available as sibling pairs.

Being born into care, this beautiful litter have been raised with the love, nurture and care all puppies should start with. They have been exposed to various other dogs, dog savvy kids and the loving cuddles of everyone who's met them.

They are 7 weeks old tomorrow (18/05) and are ready to leave for their new homes around 10 weeks of age. We are open to homes with existing animals in but we do suggest due to the nature of the bulldog breed that puppies are placed in homes with the OPPOSITE gender of existing canines.

Being so young, they're young enough to be exposed to homes with cats and other pets and are best suited to homes with kids over the age of 5 years.
Households where they're mostly indoors especially during the warmer months are best suited.

We are searching for homes with secure and safe fencing, free from gaps underneath but may be open to rural fencing for the right households and set up.
We don't recommend them for first time dog owners as the breeds can be stubborn, persistent and often cheeky.

Located in the Newcastle area NSW, as we are expecting a fair few applications please be patient with our volunteer team as they process applicants to the next stage.

**ADOPTED**

Introducing Prince!

Prince is a French Bulldog born 27th July 2024.

Prince was brought into the facility as a stray, however when we contacted his owner they asked i they were able to surrender him as he keeps escaping her yard. She said when she had colorbond fencing he was able to be secured, however her new fencing isn't enough to keep him in.

His surrender profile states he isn't toilet trained, he travels well in the car, has no separation anxiety, is friendly with children & adult strangers, he isn't good with cats, but is friendly with dogs.

Since being at the facility Prince has been an incredibly sweet boy. He's very affectionate & tries to climb on your lap at every opportunity. He loves playing with little, fluffy, squeaky toys but also loves a wrestle with his humans. When wrestling he can get a little mouthy, but he settles very quickly when corrected. He absolutely loves a back scratch and is just an overall gorgeous kid.

Prince tested quite well with other dogs. He was non-reactive when a larger female was barking aggressively at him and he was quite excited to meet a smaller, friendly female. We believe Prince could be suitable to live with another dog, or be the spoint only "child" at home. If you have a friendly dog we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.

Prince desperately wanted to be friends with our facility cat but didn't realise the danger he was in by wanting to play. While we believe he could be suitable to live with cats, as his surrender profile states he is not friendly with them, we believe he should not be housed with cats.

Prince is untested with pocket pets.

Prince has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety since being at the facility. While he does do the occasional bark/screech this is usually when he can see staff but isn't able to get to them. Given what his surrender profile states, he will need secure fencing.

If you think you could be that furever family for Prince, please contact our friendly staff via email at [email protected] or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.

Prince's adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.

Prince is currently located in East Maitland.

🍋 FOSTER HOME FOUND 🙏🏻

Meet Lemonade 🍋 a little Frenchie who hasn’t had the easiest start.

She’s currently at the vet after arriving at the pound with a re**al prolapse. This is where part of the re**al tissue pushes out through the a**s, it’s painful, serious, and needs urgent veterinary care. With no owners coming forward, we stepped in to make sure she got the treatment she needed. Now, she needs somewhere safe to land and we need a foster carer STAT.

Lemonade is a truly sweet girl who deserves comfort, stability, and someone in her corner while she recovers. There’s a chance she may need further surgery if her current procedure doesn’t hold, so she’ll need a committed foster who can monitor her closely and support her through the next stage of her healing.

🐾 Dog-friendly (from limited testing due to her condition)
🐾 Would likely be fine with a calm, chilled dog companion
🐾 Needs someone home more often than not
🐾 Commitment of a few months while we get her fully healthy
🐾 Must be Sydney-based
🐾 Bonus if you don’t mind a bit of snorting and snoring 💛

She’s been through a lot already, now she just needs someone willing to show up for her.
If you can open your home and your heart to Lemonade and are ready to jump in from Tuesday, please fill out our application form ASAP.
Let’s get this girl the safe, loving space she so desperately needs. 🙏

📢 ❌CALL OUT – RELIABLE & COMMITTED FEEDERS URGENTLY NEEDED 🐾

We’re seeking dependable, consistent people to help feed our Mayfield cat colony. 🐱
This role requires reliability these cats depend on us turning up when we say we will.

Feeding isn’t just putting food down. It’s about routine, trust, and care. When feeds are missed or inconsistent, it directly impacts the cats’ health, safety, and wellbeing.

This role is for you if you:

✔️ Can commit long-term to a regular feeding schedule

✔️ Understand the importance of showing up every time

✔️ Are happy to be accountable and communicate if plans change

✔️ Want to be part of a dedicated, supportive rescue team

By no means does this mean you can’t take holidays! You’ll be part of a team of people who are always willing to help out when needed, as we know life can throw things at us from time to time. But for the most part, we need reliable, upfront people the cats can count on. 💛

Even a small time commitment makes a huge difference but only when it’s reliable.

If you know you can truly commit and be someone these cats can rely on, please send us a message to join the feeding roster

♥️ FOSTER CARER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT (preferred) NEEDED FOR BRIAN & MISHKIA ♥️

Meet Brian (4 year old male) and Mishkia (3 year old female).
A bonded pair of Dogue De Bordeaux’s (French Mastiff’s) that are being rehomed through no fault of their own.

They are looking for a home where this bonded pair can stay together.

Their preference would be for a foster to adopt situation.

Brian & Mishka:
🐾 Not house trained, currently outside dogs only
🐾 Untested on cats
🐾 Ok with birds
🐾 Walk on lead well and good recall, Brian can be a little strong
🐾 Fine being home alone
🐾 Kids over 10
🐾 Dog tolerant - best as only dogs

If you can help foster this pair, live in the local Greater Hunter or Central Coast region and can provide a secure yard, and a warm place to sleep, then please comment below and we’ll share more details on which rescue group you can foster/adopt this duo from 🩵

This Christmas, home can be temporary but the impact is life changing. 🎄🐾

As the festive season approaches, more dogs will be arriving in our care and we urgently need short-term foster carers over Christmas and New Year, especially for dogs.

Fostering does not have to be forever.

It could be:
• Someone who is home for the holidays and would love a temporary furry companion
• A family wanting to try fostering for the first time
• Apartment dwellers who can offer love, walks and comfort
• Or those with a yard who can give our bigger dogs space to stretch their legs

Whether it is a few weeks or a few months, every foster home helps relieve pressure on our shelter and gives a dog the chance to feel safe, settled and loved.

✨ All food, supplies and vet care are provided. You just provide the home and the love.

If you have ever thought about fostering, this is the moment it matters most.
