at our local Wisemans T shirt day:
Beth won Novice champ on Idris, such a lovely combo, Adele rode Panora, cheered on by Yuko and Kaoru, and was awarded Good Sport award for being her delightful self.
Lindsay and Bobby did two Novice tests, good scores and improving all the time😊
Gold stars go to Kay Coates and Jill James, who have worked so hard and were up there in the placings, both with PB performances ⭐️⭐️

I had my new boy out for the first time, and apart from being a bit spooky at all the signs, was super in the Novices, winning Masters Novice Champ😆

Are you passionate about horses and looking to gain experience in the industry? We're seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Working Student to join our team at our 55-acre property in Peats Ridge, Central Coast, NSW.

*About Us:*

We provide agistment, lessons, and training for performance horses, as well as a small number of racehorses.
Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch care and training, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion.

*Package:*

- Comfortable live-in accommodation
- Agistment for one horse
- Lessons and training
- Training and assessment for EA Introductory Coaching qualification (6 month training course)
- Opportunities to compete locally and participate in clinics
- salary, superannuation, incentive bonuses and other benefits.

*Tasks:*

- General stable duties (shared with other staff)
- Care for agisted horses (feeding, rugging, etc.)
- Assistance with racehorses and opportunities to attend track work and races
- Schooling and exercising of client horses if competent

*Requirements:*

- Experience handling, riding, and caring for horses
- Driver's license (own car a plus)
-5.5 days/week, ( days off worked around comps, races etc)
- This position is live in, single accommodation
- Sorry, no Visa sign offs

We are looking for someone to help us in the afternoons 5 days a week 2.30pm to 5.30pm, with some flexibility, to start late Jan/ early Feb 2026.
General stable duties, feeding/ rugging horses.
Must drive (a manual ute and quad bike, we can teach!) and be experienced with horses, reliable and have an eye for detail.
Good pay and conditions.
Would suit someone local.

2 x Prydes hard feed per day plus hay.

Five star facilities with tack room, laundry and coffee room available to agisters.

Today we bid farewell to Alex McKee, who has been a Working Student with us for over 12 years!
She initially joined us from New Zealand at the age of 20 and has since evolved into a highly skilled rider and coach, as well as a versatile and competent horse person. Her own horse, Falcon Duellmagic, which she broke in and trained to Advanced level dressage, is a testament to her abilities.
Alex's unwavering dedication and loyalty to us have been so appreciated, we will certainly miss her!!

As she embarks on a new chapter, exploring the world and pursuing new adventures, we are confident that she will be successful in whatever she chooses to do and wish her all the very best 😊

We have a beautiful palomino mare for sale on behalf of her owner.
Araluen Beau is a very glamorous girl, by Byalee Briar, 16.1h and 7 yo.
She is schooling very nicely in leg yield, shoulder in and counter canter with lovely soft paces and a great attitude.

Beau has been jumping around 80 cm and is naturally brave and athletic.

He is an Irish born T B gelding, who raced very successfully in Ireland, and Hong Kong, then Australia with us!
Now it’s time for Happy to enjoy a performance career.

At 16 h and 9 yo, he is a very elegant and stylish horse, with great movement and natural cadence in the trot, and a lovely balanced canter.
Happy has been schooled on the flat for the last 5 months, and is now doing leg yield, shoulder in, counter canter. He has recently started jumping with John and is very naturally athletic and talented.
He would suit a competent and ambitious rider, and definitely has the right qualities to be very competitive in dressage, showjumping and eventing.
