Mr Poncho got some much needed pampering today from the amazing Theresa Rickuss "Equine Therapist". Theresa is by far the best bodyworker I’ve come across, all my horses absolutely love her and I always see a significant improvement afterwards. Highly recommend for anyone needing some body work for their ponies!

Learning to find peace in the stillness is one of the many invaluable life lessons that I learned from my ponies, and am still learning today. I’m still working on rewiring my brain to not constantly feel the need to be ‘doing.’ Definitely a challenge for me!

Finally starting to get back to it after a break with my little Bub.
Very limited spots for private lessons on a Saturday morning will be available in the next couple of weeks! 😍

Still my favourite ever photo of my ponies and I, and one of the coolest experiences I’ve had.
I’m not super into shows and competitions with liberty as you always have to sacrifice some of the horse’s freedom and choice when putting on a performance, but I do love it as an opportunity for them to show you how much trust they have.

This was Ponchos first time in front of a big crowd, and one of his first times in an indoor arena. I was nervous as hell and definitely not being the calm influence he needed, yet he still had enough trust in me to lay down when asked.
He’s never been laid down with ropes, only ever at liberty, so he can (and does) say no to it when he’s not comfortable.

So much love for my golden boy 🥰

Out of the arena with the boys this arvo, working on our doubles whilst out and about!

Im always striving to keep things interesting and enjoyable for the ponies so that they enjoy their work. It’s a great way to check how solid your cues are as well - do they stay just as responsive when you have grass and distractions around? 😜
