That’s a wrap on another successful Liberty competition with SEQ Liberty!! 🥳🥳🤩

What an epic day! Nicole and I cannot thank everyone enough for being part of this event. We are still in the very early days with this being our second event, but once again we were overwhelmed with the amount of support and enthusiasm !!

Some absolutely outstanding performances today, lots of inspirational moves for me to steal for my own ponies 😜 and loads of beautiful moments of connection, whether things went perfectly or not - we just love seeing the softness and communication between horse & handler as the horses start to calm down, return to their handler and try their little hearts out. Well done everyone, you should all be so proud!!

I am completely exhausted, but just over the moon. It’s been a dream of mine for so long to create a space to celebrate the beautiful art of liberty and enjoy each other’s wonderful horsemanship, and with Nicole Bruce liberty training ‘s help we are making it happen!!

Another AMAZING Liberty clinic done and dusted!! I am wrecked, but had so much fun, what an awesome group of horse women!
I had a great time working with all of you, every single person has some amazing work down alongside beautiful relationships!! Nicole and I were both gobsmacked at the talent today!

Quick message for any competitors tomorrow: please come see me in the morning to double check that I have the correct song saved on my Spotify playlist for you!!

This weekend is our next Liberty clinic and competition!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Beyond excited to see more from those who competed last time, and to see a few new acts from those joining us for the first time!

If you’re still planning to compete, but haven’t got your ticket yet - do so ASAP as I will be closing the ticketing so I can create a run sheet by WEDNESDAY! 😮

For those coming on the day/s, you will receive more information by Wednesday night including run sheet & timing, parking info, score sheets etc etc.

If you competed last time, the score sheets are the same!

🎶🎤 I need to know songs before Friday so I can make sure I have everyone’s tracks ready to go in my Spotify! Please send me the name and artist for your song choice no later than Friday!

Here’s some more quick info:
👉 clinic participants (Saturday) will receive an email by Wednesday evening with information about the running of the day, parking etc. This clinic is catered, so you just need yourself, your horse & training gear!
👉 Competition day (Sunday) will begin at 9am SHARP! The day runs pretty quickly to fit everyone in, so keep an eye out for the run sheet (Wednesday evening) so you know your approximate performance time.
👉 We will be a little more strict on set up and pack down times this time around as we have more competitors to fit in, and as much as we love the creativity of heaps of cool obstacles, we do ask that you limit what you bring in to just a few obstacles that can be quickly set up and packed down in a couple of minutes.
👉 ❗️A note from our previous event: we had a couple of mini ponies performing which apparently spooked some of our not-so-gutsy larger horses 😅 we did have one upset owner who kept being told to keep her ponies away from others horses, as their horses were getting upset. Sorry to say, but if your horse is being a Wally about someone else’s pony, it’s your job to manage that situation, not someone else’s job to move their horse on. Just take it as a learning opportunity and do some calming ground work to re-connect with your horse when the scary minis are around! 😂
👉 please start sending song choices through asap.
👉 we will run a BBQ again on the day and will have limited merch available (EFTPOS Tap to pay or cash) for competition day
👉 please BYO seats for competition day as there are very limited seats at the venue!
