Get to know us - Our Competitions!

We are passionate about celebrating what we believe is the true heart of liberty -connection, communication, partnership and love.

A small rear, performed calmly and willingly will always score more than a huge expressive rear that is forced, unsafe or out of control.

We love seeing personalities shine through in each routine, from quirky tricks, creative costumes, the smiles, laughter and pats, as well as the cheeky moments, it’s all what liberty is all about for us.

I'm thrilled to be opening up a few spots in a new Saturday morning group lesson slot!
Group lessons are fantastic because they run like mini-clinics, except better! Join as a regular attendee and you will watch and learn from one another, create lovely new friendships with like-minded horsey women and celebrate each other's progress!

I am currently only opening up a max of 6 positions, so get in quick if you'd like to train with me! :)

Saturdays 10-11:30am, starting in October.
At my place in Cedar Creek, 4207.
Casual attendees $80, Sign up for 4+ lessons for $50ea.

Please note - ALL experience levels are completely welcome, from complete beginners / 'first-time-out-pooping-my-pants' level, right up to experienced & those working multiple horses - I'm keeping the group size small so I can get to know you & your horse and cater to your level!

Welcome to SEQ Liberty!!

What started as a little idea between Nicole and I has grown (and continues to grow) into something very exciting!

For such a long time, we’ve wanted to join forces as we both love each other’s training style and train very similarly - putting our horses and our relationship with our horses first and foremost, and prioritising fun, low pressure and empathetic training.

We’ve now run 3 successful competitions, in which we have been so amazed and inspired at the talent and beautiful horsemanship that we’ve seen.

Weve literally cried every single competition for one reason or another - beautiful families sharing this lovely way of working with horses, clients that we’ve seen grow so much, routines that are just awe-inspiring. This is such a special group of people and we’re excited to continue to grow and share with each other and all of you!

From here on in, this page will be the central go-to for clinic and competition dates, events will be posted here, along with updates, training tips, and special moments to share.

Watch till the end for ultimate cuteness! ❤️

When I first fell pregnant, I was so anxious about keeping my horsey time the same as it had always been, little did I realise how much better it would get once I could start sharing these moments with my little ones!

Honey is my heart horse and means the world to me, I can’t wait to watch Nora develop her own bond with this one in a million mare ❤️

Introducing the cutest little horse trainer of all time 😜

Here’s Nora’s training tip for you all: make sure you prioritise manners when working with food rewards! There’s nothing like a pushy, treat-obsessed horse to make training sessions yucky and stressful!

More importantly, where do I buy a tiny toddler-sized western hat to complete the outfit?! 🤠

And yes that is natural light, no filters added - just Mother Nature blessing us with gorgeous weather! 😍

First training session back after a long break - time to put time into the relationship bucket before drawing out of it. I let the ponies choose what they want to do (it’s clear what their favourite trick is!) and use a very high reinforcement rate alongside my usual strict treat manners = super lovely session and happy ponies all round!
