Capricorn Equestrian Centre has a 60 x 60 m fenced arena, a 60 x 20 m dressage arena, round yards, obstacles and trails, facilities ideal for a day out with your horse ($15/day). we provide lessons for children terms 2 - 4 on Saturdays, Thursdays we look after NDIS clients, and we have a social adults class on Fridays "Riding for fun and fitness", your horse ($45) or ours ($80)

We have also secured lots of exciting instructors for 2022.Angie Wicks, Alice Hurley, Ian Francis, Tania Powell. We will be hosting a seventh charity gymkhana in aid of the RDA and Leukaemia Foundation September 18th 2022

So it's going to be a busy year for us - hope to see you join us in the saddle sometime.

Our Story

Capricorn Equestrian Centre (formerly known as Capricorn Coast Trail Rides at the Oaks (Caltex) petrol station). The business has been in operation since 2001 and operates out of our property at the base of the very scenic Mt.Wheeler.

The riding centre focuses on offering quality education in horsemanship and riding for all ages, with onsite instructors and regularly presenting the best clinicians in Australia.

Terms 2 - 4 we offer an adult class on Fridays (and Mondays) "Riding for fun and fitness", Saturdays we have childrens riding lessons and for under 10 years we offer, parent/carer assisted lead line lessons. Our horses are happy and well cared for, trained by Glen Bridgeman.
